Day 2: Parma
Visit the Palazzo della Pilotta - which houses several museums including the National Gallery, the Teatro Farnese - a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture - the Camera di San Paolo, the Cathedral with its dome frescoed by Correggio and the Baptistery.
In the afternoon, we recommend a visit to Torrechiara, with its impressive castle in the hills near Parma. Enjoy a tasting in a local cheese or ham factory and sample the bold flavours of the region.

Start the day with a visit to Sirmione, the Scaliger Castle and a splendid example of lake fortification as well as the Grottoes of Catullus - one of the best preserved Roman domus.
Continue to Desenzano del Garda. Stroll along the lakefront, reach the Faro and Piazza Malvezzi and stop at Desenzano Castle and the Villa Romana before leaving. End your day at Salò and Limone del Garda, famous for its lemon houses.

Brenzone sul Garda is where you can relax among tranquil landscape in the shadow of Monte Baldo. Enjoy hiking in the local area, or take a boat out onto the lake to experience a new perspective of the area.
Located in the northern part of the Emilia-Romagna region, along the Via Emilia, Parma is like an open-air museum. Its centre boasts many examples of stunning architecture, as well as large green spaces where you can sit and watch the world go by.
