Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-4
Day 1: Upon arrival at Garda Lake, you will be accommodated at Hotel La Quiete in Manerba del Garda. Enjoy a nice walk by the lake and admire the stunning views.
Day 2: After breakfast, visit the Rocca di Manerba del Garda, where the frenzy and noise of everyday life are put aside. Enjoy some time spent in nature, at the Nature Reserve of Manerba del Garda. Like a treasure chest, this place holds a unique plant variety, different climatic zones, that grow together. Take a walk in the park and experience all the scents and colours. After, enjoy wine tasting in a local vinery.
Day 3: After breakfast, start your day by visiting Sirmione and the Scaliger Castle, with its historic centre, alleys, caves of Catullus, one of the best preserved Roman domus. Continue your day by heading to Desenzano del Garda where you can walk along the lakeside, admire the lighthouse and Piazza Malvezzi and, before leaving, visit the Desenzano Castle and the Roman Villa. End your day with a visit of Salò and Limone del Garda, famous for its lemon groves.
Day 4: After breakfast, it's time to head to Verona, a city characterised by over two thousand years of history. It is also known as the city of love, where Shakespeare set his drama Romeo and Juliet. Visit the places of star-crossed lovers: Juliet's house with the famous balcony, Juliet's tomb and Romeo's house. Further ahead is the lively and busy Piazza Bra with the imposing Arena. From Via Cappello you reach the suggestive Piazza delle Erbe, the heart of the city since Roman times.
Day 5-8
Day 5: After breakfast, is time to head to Lake Maggiore, where you will be staying in the Hotel Ghiffa.
Day 6: Today is dedicated to visiting Lake Maggiore, the westernmost of the three large pre-Alpine lakes. The mild climate, both in summer and winter, has favored the development of Mediterranean-type vegetation although it is easy to find exotic plants in the gardens. From Stresa, take a boat to visit the Borremean Islands (Isola Madre and Isola Bella), where the Borromeo residences are located which contain priceless works of art and rich gardens which are a classic example of an Italian garden of the time. Enjoy a light lunch in a restaurant on the Borremean Islands.
Returning from the islands, walk along the lakeside towards Pallanza and Intra where, at the Punta della Castagnola, stands Villa Taranto with its park of impressive beauty, which extends over an area of 20 hectares with avenues, waterfalls, fountains and panoramic terraces.
Day 7: After breakfast, why not head Lake Orta, and along the way, visit the complex of the Sanctuary of the Sacred Mount. Once in Orta San Giulio, you could take a boat excursion to the island of San Giulio to visit the Roman basilica.
Day 8: Your trip has come to an end, it's time to head back home.

Your Destinations —
Lake Maggiore
Lake Maggiore, or Lago Maggiore, is an ideal destination to relax surrounded by magnificent nature.
It is no coincidence that the region of Lake Maggiore has been chosen by famous writers and poets, such as Dickens, Stendhal, Flaubert and Hemingway, to stimulate their inspiration.
With its islands, its flowery coasts, its palaces, its villages and its majestic alpine mountains, Lake Maggiore offers a sumptuous and romantic setting for your holidays.
Manerba del Garda
On the west coast of Lake Garda, in the province of Brescia, discover one of the ten "happiest villages in Italy".
Manerba del Garda is ideally located on the beautiful Lake Garda between walking routes, forests, olive groves and vineyards. Hike to the Punta Sasso, a fantastic viewpoint with a historic cross, explore the nature reserve or sunbathe on the beaches of Pisenze and Dusano.
Here you can also get the adrenaline flowing with numerous water sports such as sailing or windsurfing. Or how about a visit to the island of San Biagio, also known as the "rabbit island"?
Be sure to soak up the local culture, immerse yourself in the rich history of the region and admire the natural beauty. There are plenty of picturesque little villages to explore such as Salò, Gardone Riviera and Toscolano Maderno, or continue to the southern tip of the lake with Sirmione, Desenzano and Peschiera del Garda. We already know for sure: the Lake Garda region will amaze you in so many ways!
