Ischia is the largest island in the Gulf of Naples and is rich in natural resources – indeed, it is famed for its abundance of thermal springs, beautiful sandy beaches, verdant greenery and crystalline waters. The island is perhaps most popular for its thermal springs which are thought to have healing properties for both beauty and health. 

Since the nineteenth century, Ischia has become one of Europe’s most visited spa centres. Along with its rich resources in thermal springs, the clean and clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea are a huge attraction for visitors. Many thermal spa gardens on the island incorporate the sea with the springs, creating warm thermal pools situated by the beach overlooking the amazingly beautiful scenery of the island.

Mezzatorre Resort & Spa 5* —

These 20-24 sqm room are located in either the park opens up onto a 4-10 sqm terrace or in the main building, an ancient watch tower from the 16th century with a partial sea view overlooking the crystalline waves as they lap up on the island.  Each room is tastefully decorated in its own distinctive style that is both welcoming & elegant.

The Standard Double rooms offer soft and sober colours with one double bed or twin beds and are equipped with all the amenities of a luxury 5-star hotel. Outside, a private terrace of about 6 square meters is equipped with a table and chairs and gives you the possibility for relaxation in privacy.

Mezzatorre’s Health & Beauty Center is a sanctuary of well-being set in a picturesque 16th-century watchtower.  A selection of carefully-chosen materials accompanies the guests' senatorial journey across total-white rooms filled with light background music and the sweet aroma of candles and essential oils. 

Every detail contributes to an experience of deep mind-and-body relax. All the provided treatments use the therapeutic thermal water flowing at 45° from the hotel’s private spring. Highly-skilled in-door technicians make up the resort’s medical team, headed by Dr. Giulio Flavio Uggiano.
