The island is perhaps most popular for its thermal springs which are thought to have healing properties for both beauty and health. Since the nineteenth century, Ischia has become one of Europe’s most visited spa centres.
Along with its rich resources in thermal springs, the clean and clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea are a huge attraction for visitors. Many thermal spa gardens on the island incorporate the sea with the springs, creating warm thermal pools situated by the beach overlooking the amazingly beautiful scenery of the island.
Focused on agriculture and wine-making, the island is self-sufficient and uses local produce to create the freshest of foods. Guests can taste these delectable dishes at the restaurant in the resort.
A 1.5km walk from the hotel will take you into the historic resort town of Forio - a lovely spot to end a seafront stroll.
