The building that Hotel Villa Casagrande 4* now calls home, comprised of half palace and half villa, was constructed in 1392 by Ser Ristoro notary of Florence. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, the estate retains many of its original features. Full of artistic heritage, the hotel offers all the modern amentities while simulanteously preserving the romance of the 14th century.


With a gorgeously landscaped garden and two swimming pools, one of which is guarded by ancient walls, the hotel's grounds invite you to explore their riches. The historic 12th-century medieval village of Figline Valdarno is an utterly picturesque fixture of Tuscany. The large and characteristic Casagrande building is enclosed by the town walls and is close to the centre of the old town.


Figline Valdarno is located in the middle of the triangle made up of Siena, Arezzo, and Florence. It is just 40 minutes from Florence airport and a little over 1 hour from the centre of Sienna. The position allows visitors to easily make day trips to these beautiful cities, or venture out into the splendid Tuscan countryside and discover its hidden wonders.
