Zante —
With crystal, azure blue waters lapping softly against the sandy beaches, the exquisite Greek Islands are a true treasure of the European continent. There are in fact 6,000 Greek islets and islands scattered in the Aegean and Ionian Seas, of which only 227 islands are inhabited, making many unexplored paradises.
Zante is a well-known summer resort for its beautiful sparkling waters and captivating coastlines. In the main harbour city of Zakynthos, you will find Solomos Square centred around the waterfront. The islands popular beaches boast sensational views and tranquil waters, perfect for sunbathing and relaxation. Visit Agios Nikolaos, Alykanas and Tsilivi for some of the islands best swimming spots and water sports. Accessed by boat, Navagio beach is also worth a visit, as it is host to the famed 1980 shipwreck resting in a sandy cove framed by the overhanging cliffs.
