DAY 1: RHODES
DAY 1:
Your island escape begins in Rhodes, where ancient history and golden beaches meet under endless blue skies. After touching down, a private transfer will be waiting to take you straight to your hotel, Hotel Mediterranean 5*.
Upon check-in, enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine.
DAYS 2 & 3: RHODES
Spend the next couple of days exploring Rhodes at your leisure. Here are a few things we suggest doing:
- A day trip to Lindos, one of the island’s most picturesque villages, where whitewashed houses tumble down towards a sheltered bay. Lindos is easily reached by public bus or boat.
- Rhodes Old Town, the largest medieval city in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Tsambika Monastery, perched high on a hill with panoramic views worth every step of the climb. Cool off afterwards at Tsambika Beach, with its long stretch of golden sand and shallow turquoise waters.
DAY 5: KOS
Take a private transfer to Rhodes port, and hop aboard a ferry across the Aegean to Kos port. From Kos port enjoy a private transfer to your next hotel, Smy Kos Beach & Splash 4*. Here in Kos, the pace is a little slower, the roads flatter, and the beaches stretch a little further...
For the 8 night tour departure to Kos will be on day 4, and for the 9 or 10 night tour departure to Kos will be on day 5.
DAY 5, 6 & 7: KOS
Spend the next couple of days exploring Rhodes at your leisure. Here are a few things we suggest doing:
- Explore Kos Town, where ancient history is scattered across the city like open-air museum pieces. Visit the Asklepion, one of Greece’s most important ancient healing centres, and wander the ruins of the Ancient Agora.
- Kos is made for cycling, so rent a bike and follow the coastal paths that weave past palm trees, sandy beaches and quiet harbours. Stop at Therma Beach, where hot springs bubble up into a natural rock pool by the sea.]
- Join a boat trip from Kos Marina for a day of island hopping. Many cruises stop at Pserimos, Plati, and Kalymnos, with swimming stops in crystal-clear waters and lunch served on board.
DAY 8: DEPARTURE
Take a private transfer to Kos Airport, ready for your flight home.
For the 8, 9 and 10 night tour departure will be on day 9, 10, or 11 respectively.
