The tour will also take you to the picturesque east side of the island with great views and a deserted mine. Here the rocks contain many minerals and therefore have the most interesting shapes and colours. Nestled just 12 km from the capital, Lia Beach is a secluded stretch of golden sand that's perfect for those who wish to swim and soak up the sun. Just around the coast at Kalafati, you’ll also find a larger beach that offers plenty of opportunities for exciting watersports. End your day on the northern tip of the island at the atmospheric Armenistis Lighthouse, the perfect spot for seeking out a breathtaking Greek sunset over the Aegean Sea.
