Moraitika —
Moraitika is a traditional village of Corfu, located just 20 km from the old town of Corfu on the southeast coast of the island. This small village possesses the same traditional structure as most of the villages in Corfu, with narrow streets, numerous churches in the village and beautiful stone houses. There is also a beautiful rocky beach, where visitors can enjoy the crystal waters of the Ionian Sea.
Due to its small number of inhabitants, Moraitika has only recently developed into a very attractive summer destination for travellers to Corfu, mainly owing to its location. In the village, which is open almost all day and night during the summer season, there are shops, taverns and restaurants offering delicious local and Greek dishes. Moraitika is an ideal destination for your summer holidays, where you will have the chance to enjoy the warm hospitality of the island, in a traditional Corfiat village, just a short distance from other nearby sites worth visiting.
