Just four kilometres from Kos town is Asklepieion, a place of great historical significance. Asklepieion used to be the greatest health institution in Ancient Greece, dedicated to Asklepios, the god of medicine. The view of the Aegean Sea from Asklepieion is stunning.

Spread amongst colourful gardens, Lakitira air-conditioned rooms have flat screen TVs, safes, fridges and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Many enjoy views of the sea from their balconies.

Lakitira Resort and Village has four restaurants:
La Terrace Restaurant, features an enticing buffet with a delightful variety of freshly made food and sweets.
The Trattoria di Mauro, an Italian Restaurant, serves pizzas, pasta, meat and also hosts special “theme nights” with recipes from all over the world.
The Plateia, a picturesque, village-like tavern offers Greek “mezedes”, grilled meat and fish, as well as specialties from Kos island.
The Breeze Beach Restaurant, offers delicious burgers, salads, snacks and “dishes of the day”.
Also, at the lovely Seaside Promenade, you can prepare your own bbq and enjoy it with friends!
