Carda Beach Hotel is situated on the outskirts of the lively resort of Kardamena, which is only a 15 minute walk away. Kardamena is the most vibrant town on Kos outside the capital offering a wide range of restaurant, lively bars and great shopping.
Never failing to charm her visitors, Kos is the second largest of the Dodecanese group and lies close to Rhodes. History asserts itself on this picturesque island, from the spreading boughs of the plane tree where Hippocrates, the father of medicine, is said to have tutored his students, to the ruins of medieval defensive castles. If your image of Greece is one of breathtaking beaches, azure seas and a fascinating, ancient history, then holidays in Kos will not disappoint.
With a coastline that stretches for over 290 kilometres, Kos has a great variety of beaches ranging from large swathes of golden sand to more intimate bays and forgotten coves and inland whitewashed villages tumble down the hillsides, whilst the slopes of Mount Dikeos are enriched by a covering of pine forests and a peppering of ancient castles.
