ON ARRIVAL & BEFORE DEPARTURE


- Our warm smile cannot be hidden, which is why we have installed sneeze guards at the reception in the reception area and all the right floor markings for the appropriate social distance that we have to adhere to.

- Guests are also welcomed to our outdoor areas with security clearances for a contactless check-in process

- The possibility of web registration is provided and is strongly recommended.

- Temperature measurement with contactless devices

- The luggage of the guests is disinfected and treated with PPE.

- Check-out must be before 11:00 a.m. and check-in after 4:00 p.m.

ACCOMMODATION


- Careful cleaning, natural ventilation of the rooms and deep cleaning of the rooms before your arrival, as well as adequate attention to all the most used and touched points in the room, such as Doorknobs, telephone, bathroom and sink covers, television controls.

- We would be happy if you would inform us on your arrival if you would like to take care of your room daily, as we are not obliged to do so according to the completely new health protection protocols. It is recommended to clean and change bed linen and towels twice a week.

- We have decorations, information and directory folders, laundry bags and additional runners from the bed of all our rooms.

- Special health and sanitary accessories can be provided on request.

- Air conditioning filters are cleaned and disinfected after every departure.

- Foreigners are not allowed to enter the rooms.

- Walking customers may not enter the resort.

FOOD AND DRINKS


- Our chef looks forward to surprising you with many culinary delights, which is why we maintain our buffet-style service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as food and drinks at the Ammos Resort are a point of reference for all of our guests.

- The interior in the main restaurant ensures a distance of 1.1 to 1.7 meters between the tables. The maximum number of place settings at the table is 6 people.

- We maintain the correct table and chair spacing in our bars, indoors or outdoors, in accordance with the updated rules and regulations.

- For security reasons, but also because we want you to feel at home with us, our service team only serves your food in the buffet area.

- Depending on the occupancy of the restaurant in real time, we are happy to extend our opening hours in the main restaurant:

- Systematic chlorination of the swimming pools with disinfection products, as determined by our team of specialists.

- Large outdoor pools can be used while a lifeguard is present. Our swimming pool can accommodate up to 60 people at the same time.

- The pH values ​​of the water in the pools are kept within the recommended limits.

Your Time

The hotel has a number of leisure facilities you can use - dip into the pool, enjoy the tennis courts, or head to the sandy beach! We highly recommend the nearby village of Mastichari where guests can swim, enjoy their sunbathing and have fun with lots of water sports on a well-organized beach. This spot is supposedly where tourists can find the most beautiful sea in Kos!

Transfers:

Car Hire:

For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability).

 

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on the collection of the vehicle and in some cases, a credit card or cash deposit will be required. Your Destination

Merging tradition, history and nature, Kos attracts tourists all year round to its sparkling shores. The birthplace of Hippocrates, it is home to a number of ancient sites, the majority of them located in and around Kos Town.

 

The city’s 14th-century fortress is at the entrance to its harbour and is worth a visit for its historical significance, as are the well-preserved Roman Baths. Should you fancy a day trip, the main villages of interest in Kos are Kardamena, Kefalos, Tigaki, Antimachia, Mastichari, Marmari and Pyli. Just outside the city, it’s also possible to visit the Asklepion - an ancient healing temple that dates back to 400BC and may have been one of the most well-known of all the Asklepios in the Greek world.

 

Back in Kos Town, make sure to sample some authentic Greek delicacies - some of the best restaurants are huddled around the Plaza Beach to the north of the city, where you can also soak up stunning Aegean Sea views. Try some of the island’s fresh watermelons, or turn to the sea for octopus or mussels.

Health

If vaccinations or other preventive measures are required, you will need to visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip. In the event that you are referred to a medical facility for treatment, you should contact your insurance/medical assistance company immediately.

Brexit 
If you are travelling to the EU, the UK government recommends that you have six months left on your passport on the date of your arrival to an EU country. You should also check when your passport was renewed.

If you renewed a 10-year adult passport before it expired, extra months may have been added to your passport’s expiry date. These extra months over 10 years will not count towards the 6 months that must be remaining. Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the UK Government is currently requesting that all travellers returning to the UK, (with exceptions), must provide their journey and contact details up to 48 hours before arrival, and self-isolate at home for 14 days. These restrictions will be reviewed every three weeks. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) currently advises British nationals against all but essential international travel, and this advice is also being kept under constant review. Please note that this information is constantly being reviewed and may be subject to change.

In order for you to be able to travel safely, the Greek government has stepped up its health control measures when entering the country. All travellers are required to complete the "health protocol" form, https://travel.gov.gr/#/ at least 48 hours before their arrival. A QR code will be generated and must be presented upon departure. Travellers arriving by air from Bulgaria, Romania, Sweden, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic must have produced a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of arrival.

Please note that as of 4 am on September 3rd 2020, all travellers arriving in Scotland from Greece will have to quarantine for 14 days. Anyone arriving in Wales from the island of Zante will also be required to quarantine for a period of 14 days.

From 4 am on September 9th 2020, all travellers returning from Mykonos to the UK will be required to quarantine for 14 days.

Please note that travellers will be required to present a negative PCR test (72h) in English, on arrival. Travellers are required to fill in form within 48 hours before  departure (https://travel.gov.gr/#/) All travellers can also be randomly tested on arrival at the airport.
