Your Destination —

Kea Island is an hour boat trip from the Port of Lavrio, which can be easily approached directly from Athens' Piraeus Port. There are daily ferry trips from Lavrio Port to Kea Island and the island is also connected by boat to the islands of Syros and Kithnos. The unassuming port of Korissia is lined with tavernas and restaurants and, beyond it, there is an excellent sandy beach. A road winds round to a nice eucalyptus-shaded beach at Gialiskari and then on to sleepy Otzias, with tavernas backing a sheltered sandy bay.
