With azure waters, mountain trails, and a vivacious nightlife, Halkidiki is a wonderful destination that offers a little something for everyone. Nestled along the Mediterranean Sea in Northern Greece, Halkidiki is a popular region famed for its sandy beaches, caves, and charming fishing villages.
Revel in the beauty of the city of Thessaloniki, home to fascinating museums and landmarks including the historic White Tower.
Also in the region will also find Metamorfosi, a small town with local shops and plenty of places to eat. Sithonia itself is brimming with beautiful vistas, and walking routes, while those feeling a little more adventurous can take part in a kayak expedition. Of course, no trip to Greece would be complete without visiting some of the country’s ancient architecture.
Litochoro
In the finest part of the Olympus “Riviera” lies a landscape of outstanding natural beauty. Nestled between the rolling mountains and with a view down to the Pierian Riviera in nearby Plaka, Litochoro is a world away from hectic everyday life. As a popular climbing destination for tourists, active holidaymakers will be in their element as Greece's largest mountain is a short drive away.
