The Greek island of Crete is home to some wonderful beaches, and the 3,000m long Kolymbari beach is the setting for the Avra Imperial Beach Resort. The hotel is only a 3 minute walk to the village centre and 250 metres from the harbour.

The hotel boasts a great location, just 23km from the tourist centre of Chania, with a regular bus service to and from the city. The ancient Gonia Monastery is within walking distance and is simply stunning. You can rent a car easily at the hotel and explore more of the island, such as Falassarna beach and the amazing Samaria Gorge.

Built in May 2011, the Avra Imperial is a modern resort with minimal elements. The two elements of water and earth embrace the resort, made with the finest resources of marble, wood and local stone that complement the sleek, luxurious contemporary rooms and suites.

Avra Imperial is built within 65,000 square metres of gardens and water offering six types of suites, all with modern, state of the art décor and features.

Set on a beautiful spacious terrace overlooking the pool, the hotel's main buffet hotel restaurant, "Basilico" offers sumptuous dining choices.

The restaurant specialises in pairing delicious menus with a variety of fine wines and organises theme-night buffet dinners with two show cooking stations for guests.

Blue Dong
Asian a la carte poolside Restaurant "Blue Dong" (dinner only) – serves delicacies and delicious creations from different parts of Asia, such as Japan, China or Thailand.

Al Fresco
A la carte restaurant "Al Fresco" (for lunch) – offers snacks and light meals, wood-fired pizza with Greek and Mediterranean tastes during lunch time.A la carte Restaurant "Al Fresco Italian Pasteria" (for dinner) – a taste of real Italy by the sea water pool featuring fresh pasta and demanding pasta dishes.

Your Time —

The impressive main swimming pool lies in the centre of the resort is the centrepiece of the resort. Covering 1,500 square metres the huge pool has a separate seawater section and a unique pool bar located directly in the middle. A beach and pool towel service is available throughout the day.

The resort's spa and wellness centre provides a sumptuous relaxing retreat and features:

  • 200 metre squared heated indoor swimming pool with pool surround cascade, 2 pool water jets and 6 stainless steel hydro massage loungers
  • Temperature zone which includes steam bath cabins, Finnish sauna and ice making equipment
  • Water zone, which consists of an 8m long foot path with wall-mounted water jets for a medium intensity foot massage, mist shower, bi-thermal shower, Scottish shower and a cold rain shower
  • Relax zone, offering 8 heated loungers and aromatherapy equipment
  • Therapy zone with therapy baths, Vichy shower, automated therapy lounger, dry float bath, healing body and face massage treatments
  • Fully equipped gym & fitness centre

In addition to these excellent leisure facilities the resort also has a jelly store, traditional Cretan products store, APIVITA Greek cosmetics store,  jewellery shop, hair salon, mini market, manicure and pedicure centre, 2  children’s clubs, car rental desk, tennis and table tennis.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Private transfers are included for members booking flights with us (40km / 45 minutes).

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return. This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

ATOL Protected —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.
If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.  Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.

Please do make sure that you add Voyage Prive to your Safe Senders list and check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.
