Suggested 6-night itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to Mythos Palace
Transfer from Corfu Airport (approx. 1 hour) to your 5* adults-only resort, enjoying an all-inclusive stay. Settle into your room or suite, featuring a walk-in shower bathroom and a balcony or terrace opening onto sea or mountain views. Let the atmosphere unfold, an elegant retreat inspired by Empress Sophia Zoé Palaiologina, with Greco-Roman and Byzantine influences and one of the world’s largest collections of non-religious mosaics. Set within a protected natural park, the resort lies just 50 metres from its private beach, where the Ionian Sea shimmers in soft azure tones. Enjoy a first swim in the sea or in the outdoor pools, before a relaxed All Inclusive dinner as the day fades gently into night.
Day 2: Corfu Town (UNESCO) & Kanoni Peninsula
Journey to Corfu Old Town, a Venetian jewel listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its pastel-hued lanes where Italian elegance meets British refinement. Admire Spianáda Square, the largest in Europe, with its arcades echoing Rue de Rivoli. Visit the Old Fortress, rising above the sea with sweeping 360° views. Continue to Kanoni Peninsula, the island’s most photographed viewpoint, overlooking the Monastery of Vlacherna and the islet of Pontikonisi, steeped in the legend of Odysseus and Poseidon. Return to your resort in the late afternoon to enjoy the golden light settling over the Ionian horizon.
Day 3: Maritime escape to Paxos & Antipaxos
Set sail from Corfu Port for a full-day voyage across the Ionian Sea. Admire the southern coastline before reaching the idyllic islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. Weather permitting, explore the sea caves of Antipaxos, where shifting blues ripple across stone and water, before swimming in translucent turquoise bays. Relax on soft white sands, including Voutoumi Beach, often ranked among the Mediterranean’s most beautiful. Continue to Paxos and its charming capital Gaios, with pastel houses lining the harbour, or discover secluded coves scattered along the coast. Return sailing at sunset, with the sea glowing beneath the fading light. A day shaped by swimming, stillness and island beauty.
Day 4: Paleokastritsa, Angelokastro & Canal d’Amour
Head towards Paleokastritsa, a legendary bay of six emerald coves. Visit the 13th-century Monastery of the Virgin Mary perched above the sea, then take a traditional boat into hidden sea caves where light and water shift in silence. Swim and snorkel in crystalline waters. Continue up to Angelokastro, the “Castle of the Angels”, rising 300 metres above the coastline with commanding views across western Corfu. End the day at Sidari’s Canal d’Amour, where according to local legend those who swim through together are destined for love. Return at sunset for a Greek Night at the hotel, with live music and traditional dancing.
Day 5: Blue Lagoon & Sivota Cruise (full day)
Transfer to Corfu Town and board from Garitsa Bay, setting off towards the Blue Lagoon, one of the Ionian Sea’s most photogenic coves. Swim in luminous waters and explore its striking sea cave, where light fractures into vivid blues. Cruise around the Sivota islands, including Black Mountain and St. Nicholas Island, surrounded by untouched natural beauty. Stop in the traditional fishing village of Sivota for two hours, wander along the waterfront, enjoy a local taverna lunch, or unwind on Bella Vraka or Zeris beaches. On the return, cross the Ionian Sea with a possible swim stop at Crystal Bay or a photo pause at Pontikonisi, Corfu’s iconic islet. Return to the hotel in the evening. (Transfers included.)
Day 6: Authentic South – Achilleion, Lake Korission & kumquat distillery
Drive to the Achilleion Palace in Gastouri, former residence of Empress Sissi of Austria. Stroll through terraced gardens adorned with mythological statues, including the iconic Dying Achilles, with sweeping sea views beyond. Continue to Lake Korission, a protected natural reserve where over 120 bird species thrive. Relax on Halikounas Beach, a wild sandbar separating lagoon and sea, raw, open and peaceful. Visit a local kumquat distillery, Corfu’s signature fruit brought by the British, and taste liqueurs, preserves and handmade sweets. Return along the southern coast, pausing in the quiet fishing village of Boukari for a final sunset by the water.
Day 7: Wellness & final moments
Enjoy a slow morning in your 5* adults-only retreat. Indulge in the spa, facials, massages, and the indoor pool set in a calm, atmospheric setting. Take a final swim at the private beach or by the outdoor pools. Join a yoga, Pilates or fitness session, or enjoy water activities offered by the resort. Savour a last All Inclusive lunch inspired by Mediterranean flavours and local produce. Free time for final souvenirs, olive oil, thyme honey, handmade ceramics, and of course kumquat delicacies. Transfer to Corfu Airport (approx. 1 hour), carrying with you the lingering warmth of the Ionian sun and the memory of days shaped by sea, stone and light.
Excursion to Paxos & Antipaxos —
From the port of Corfu, sail along the island’s stunning southern coastline while taking in sweeping views over the Ionian Sea. Continue towards Antipaxos, renowned for its turquoise waters and idyllic coves. Weather permitting, your boat will also explore the impressive sea caves, spectacular natural formations sculpted by the sea.
Enjoy a refreshing swimming stop in this heavenly setting before continuing to Paxos, a charming and authentic island where you will have free time to wander through the narrow streets of Gaios, its picturesque capital, or discover beautiful bays with crystal-clear waters.
