DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN ATHENS:
Meet at Athens Airport and private transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Athens.
DAY 2 (or longer depending on package) – ATHENS:
Breakfast at the hotel. The day is at your own leisure. Free day to discover Athens, an amazing city with many museums, parks, and the shopping areas of Kolonaki, Hermou, Voukourestiou Street, Monastiraki and Plaka. Athens is the historical capital of Europe, with a long history, dating back to the first settlement in the Neolithic era. In the 5th century BC ("the Golden Age of Pericles") - the high point of Athens' long and fascinating history - the city's values and civilisation acquired universal significance.
Overnight in Athens.
DAY 3 – ATHENS to ASTYPALEA:
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning, pick up from the hotel and private transfer to Piraeus Port. The boat will take you to the island of Astypalea. When the Boat arrives at Astypalea Port, meet your shared transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Astypalea.
DAY 4 & 5 / OR 4 to 6 / OR 4 to 8 - ASTYPALEA:
Breakfast at the hotel. Explore the delightful island of Astypalea and relish the sun-kissed island vibes of your hotel. Your time is completely your own to seek out your favourite taverna, meander around the town, and find the best, most refreshing swimming spots on the island!
Overnight in Astypalea.
DAY 6 / DAY 7 / or DAY 9 – ASTYPALEA to ATHENS:
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your shared transfer and head to Astypalea Port. Today you return to Athens via ferry!
DAY 8 / 9 / or 11: ATHENS DEPARTURE:
After making the most of your last two nights in Athens, you will be picked up from your hotel and enjoy a private transfer to Athens Airport (approximately 2.5 hours before your departure flight)

Athens
It was Athens that brought the world drama, history, poetry, and philosophy, and a visit to this ancient city offers no end of attractions. Indeed, the towering columns of the 2,000-year-old Parthenon still dominate the city skyline, a homage to the goddess Athena. No visit to the city would be complete without walking up to the Acropolis and admiring its structures: aside from the Parthenon, you can see the Erechtheion, a temple dedicated to Athena and Poseidon, and the Propylaea, the ancient gateway to the hill citadel.
Walking through the city is the best way to discover its history. In the shadow of the Acropolis, Plaka is a particularly interesting neighbourhood with a village feel, full of traditional Greek taverns, churches, and smaller museums - as well as the Cine Paris, a charming outdoor cinema with a stunning view of the Acropolis. Elsewhere, don't miss the famous changing of the guards in Constitution Square every hour on the hour.
