Situated on Mount Parnassus, in the south of mainland Greece, this beautiful town is home to the site of the Temple of Apollo (4th-century-B.C.), which was once home to a legendary oracle.
You can also see the remains of the sanctuaries of Apollo and Athena Pronaia, as well as an Archaeological Museum which displays artefacts found among the ancient ruins. This destination is an intellectual's dream!
Why not add on trips to a few charming villages whilst here? Arachova, Itea and the seaside village of Galaxidi are all close by!
Meteora
A place that is described as serene, spiritual, magical, mystical, extraordinary and breathtaking, Meteora is an inspiring place to visit and is bursting with impressive history.

In Mateora, guests staying at either of these hotels will be treated to authentic and traditional accommodation, and a beautiful setting. Visit the famous rock formation and check out one of Greece's largest built monasteries!
