Day 1: Arrival in Athens
Arrive in Athens & pick up your car...let the adventure begin!

Drive to Nafplio which is probably one of the most endearing cities of the Peloponnese & is located at the foot of a rocky hill crowned by a powerful Venetian citadel. The old town has kept a holiday flavour with its restaurants, shops & seafront cafes, ideal for admiring the sea or lazing in the sun.
Pass through Canal of Corinth, Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus & Nauplia en route.

Day 3: Nafplio
Spend the day exploring Nafplio & the surrounding area, you will find a wealth of ancient sites dotted around this city.

Visit attractions such as Nauplia, Tripoli & Tegea on your way to Kalamata. Built on the eastern foothills of Taygetos Mountain, the city of Kalamata has successfully preserved the beauty of its aristocratic past - as is evident in the historical centre and the stunning neoclassical architecture.
Kalamata offers guests numerous bars, cafes, restaurants, theatres and a rich culture. The unique beaches here are also a significant attraction!

Transport yourself back to ancient Greece with a visit to Olympia where the Olympics were first conceived. Here you will find the remains of the Temple of Zeus, which originally housed a 12m ivory & gold statue of the god which was known to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
Pylos, Ancient Messena & Apollon Basae are definitely worth visiting on your way.

See highlights such as the Rio-Antirio Bridge, Nafpactos & Itea on your way to today's main attraction: Delphi! Delphi was seen as the centre Greece's spiritual life, it was a symbol of unity where every king would travel to in order to gain an audience with the Oracle of the temple of Apollo as a way of cementing his power.
The site of Delphi and more particularly the temple of Apollo is located in one of the most phenomenal landscapes on mainland Greece. Simply walking through this site will give an idea of why it held such importance for the Ancient Greeks. Spend some time at the theatre and drink in a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains with breathtaking nature.

Day 7: Delphi - Athens (180km)
Return to Athens & spend your last day enjoying the delight of Modern Athens which is buzzing with boutiques & friendly cafes which spill out onto cobbled streets.
Visit cities such as Arachpve, Levadia & Thebes en route.

Day 8: Departure
Make your way to the airport & board your flight home.
