Twinned with nearby Tignes, Val d'Isère is an extensive ski resort offering access to 78 lifts and a combined 300km of pistes. However, there are also a number of ski school for beginners, and with fine conditions through the year, you can even take a summer trip!
If you’re planning a warm holiday in the Alps, there are also plenty of other activities at Val d'Isère to get involved in. Experience the thrills of mountain biking or cycling the mountain tops, or take a hike through the beautiful countryside - Le Lac de L’Oullette is a popular destination, an Alpine lake at 2500m above sea level.
