You will discover a castle that intrigues, combining 4 centuries of architecture, 4 different eras coming together around the same court. It is a perfect witness to the evolution of French architecture from the 13th to the 17th century, from the Court to the Renaissance... Beyond this particularity, it is a place containing many secrets of the French Court...! Nearly 7 kings and 10 queens succeeded each other and several historical events took place there, between dramas, plots and power games.

Explore the Château de Chenonceau, whose current buildings date from the 16th century. This monument contains many centuries of history, marked by the women who shaped it: Katherine Briçonnet, Diane de Poitiers, Catherine de Médicis, Louise de Lorraine and Louise Dupin. You will be able to observe the three parts that make up this castle: the main building, the large gallery overhanging the Cher on five arches and the Tour des Marques, a vestige of the old medieval castle. Your visit will take you through the twenty or so period-style rooms.
