Your Destination

Stunningly picturesque, the Rhine is the second longest river in Central and Western Europe (after the Danube) and has historically been a vital waterway carrying trade and goods deep inland.

Along the way, precipitous cliffs, steep vineyards, a castle perched on virtually every hilltop and pretty villages line the river banks on either side, testifying to its importance as a great symbol of Germany.

Your Cruise Itinerary

Day 1: Frankfurt Airport> Mainz (Departure of the cruise at 23:00)
A major city of Roman Antiquity in Germany, Mainz has a rich millennial culture, keeping traces of the past whilst the most picturesque streets of this city are close to the imposing Cathedral. Imported by the Romans, wine takes an important place in Mainz, it is the wine capital of Rhineland Palatinate. The wine market is one of the highlights of the city, as is its carnival, one of the most famous Rhine carnivals.

Day 2: Mannheim (Arrival at 7:00 am and departure at 2:00 pm)
Legend has it that the Quadrat neighbourhood's urban design would have inspired Manhattan's architecture. The streets of this neighbourhood are squares, forming a chessboard. The locals will be happy to help you and tell you in which quadrat Mozart gave some piano lessons when he came to Mannheim.
Festive and cultural, you can find museums and art galleries in old industrial wastelands or in more traditional neighbourhoods. Also, a chance to enjoy a Heidelberg Castle Tour.

Excursions will be offered on the boat (optional and extra).
Day 3: Strasbourg (Arrival at 5 am - Departure at 10 pm)
Take in Gothic giants, military marvels and varietal vintages, you’ll be amazed by the red-sandstone gothic cathedral with ancient murals and the fascinating astronomical clock. Also, stroll through the lovely La Petite France district with its quaint shops, delightful bistros, and peaceful waterfront promenade. Enjoy an included Strasbourg bus and walking tour to see these sights. Excursions will be offered on the boat (optional and extra).

Day 4: Worms> Rüdesheim (Arrival at Worms at 08:00 - Departure from Worms at 14:00 Arrival at Rüdesheim at 18:30)
Worms is part of one of the cities with the most Roman churches in Germany. This city is famous for being the setting for much of the saga of the Nibelungen, a medieval epic. A statue of Hagen, one of the characters, is located along the Rhine. Excursions will be offered on the boat (optional and extra).

Day 5: Rüdesheim> Koblenz (Departure from Rüdesheim at 11:00 - Arrival in Koblenz at 15:00 Departure from Koblenz at 22:00)
In Rüdesheim, tourists flock from all over the country to enjoy Riesling, a white wine renowned as one of the best in the world. Koblenz is part of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be amazed by the magnificent panoramas and the castles and fortresses that line the Rhine. The monument in honour of William I, which dominates the Rhine, attracts many visitors. Excursions will be offered on the boat (optional and extra).

Day 6: Cologne (Arrival at 03:30 - Departure at 22:00)
This ancient Roman city that has continued to prosper over time is a crossroads in the heart of the Rhineland. City of culture, heritage, especially for its famous UNESCO listed cathedral, history and trade, it offers to anyone visiting a range of activities as rich and varied. Enjoy a Cologne walking tour to see these sights. Excursions will be offered on the boat (optional and extra).

Day 7: Amsterdam (Arrival at 3:00 pm)
A hint of magic seems to hang over this modest capital, which, at the corner of every street, seems to have so much to offer. An old cafe calls you in with dozens of sparkling candles, the facades of the houses delight with their colours and barges echo the sound of the lapping of water. From museum to museum, let yourself be carried away by this wave of recklessness and the underground aura that reigns over Amsterdam. Enjoy an Amsterdam walking tour to see these sights.  Excursions will be offered on the boat (optional and with extra charge).

Day 8: Amsterdam> Amsterdam Airport (Return after 12:00)

Excursions will be offered on the boat (optional and extra).
