Abbaye de Sainte Croix is ideally located at the crossroads of major tourist sites such as the Alpilles, Luberon, Camargue, Baux de Provence, Aix-en-Provence or Marseilles and the Mediterranean coast.

Your Hotel —

According to legend, the history of the Abbaye de Sainte Croix goes back to around the 9th century. Saint Hilaire, archbishop of Arles, reportedly brought back from Palestine a piece of the Cross of Christ which was used for the construction of this Romanesque chapel. Today, the Abbaye de Sainte Croix is ​​no longer a place of worship and spiritual retreat, but is a boutique hotel offering sweeping views of the surroundings, this countryside hotel in Salon-de-Provence stands amid 20 hectares of pine groves. The local railway station is 5km away and Marseille International Airport is 30km from the charming hotel.

Sleep

The 25 guestrooms are warm and welcoming. Decorated by Philippe Eckert, the individually-designed interiors are complemented by valley, terrace, courtyard or garden views. Each guestroom features air conditioning, a television and luxury bathroom, with most also featuring a terrace. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome bottole of wine (one bottle per room per stay).

- Monacale Room (18 m² / max 2 persons): Overlooking the garden, the Monacale Rooms each offer a unique décor inspired by the colors and scents of the South.

- Tradition Room (22 m² / max 2 persons): More spacious, some of the Tradition rooms have an outdoor area with views of the hills or the gardens.

- Charme Room (25 m² / max 2 persons): The Charme Rooms have a small south-facing balcony overlooking the Salon de Provence valley.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Chef Jonathan Lelorec, a native of Pays de la Loire, is passionate about cooking. Having trained in prestigious establishments in France and abroad, he fell in love with Abbaye de Sainte Croix and its atmosphere combining charm and authenticity. The cuisine is comforting, generous, fresh and original. The hotel’s restaurant terrace is ideal for enjoying a delicious meal whilst taking in captivating panoramic views of the stunning surroundings.

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
