A relaxing break at an authentic wine estate and eco-lodge
Domaine Riberach 4* —
Nestled in the Catalan village of Bélesta, 25 minutes from Perpignan, step inside Domaine Riberach 4*, a 4-star ecolodge set within a beautifully restored 1925 wine cooperative. This unique location blends design, history and nature into a serene retreat of rooms and suites tucked into and above the old wine vats. Each space features a modern yet timeless Mediterranean loft-style decor, with natural materials and panoramic views of the village or surrounding vineyard.
Unwind after a day of wine tasting at the hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired spa, featuring a sauna, a hammam, massage rooms and a natural swimming pool nestled among olive trees before heading to one of the four restaurants on site. From Michelin green-starred fine dining to casual summer grilling and a wine-and-dine bistro, there is something for every palate and occasion at Domaine Riberach 4*.
Your room —
Choose between a stay in a Comfort Village View Room or a Junior Comfort Village View Suite.
Comfort Village View Room (24 m²)
Perched above the wine vats, the Comfort Village View Room is a warm and inviting retreat with a subtly colonial-inspired charm. Natural materials, soft textures, and carefully chosen details blend authenticity with understated elegance in this room for two. These rooms feature a balcony overlooking the terrace facing the village for you to soak in the serene views before tucking in for a restful night.
Junior Comfort Village View Suite (36 m²)
The Junior Comfort Village View Suite is an inviting and peaceful retreat separated into three distinct spaces: a serene bedroom, an inviting lounge, and a generous bathroom. It offers a sense of space and calm with its timeless design, enhanced by soft lighting and natural textures. A private terrace, complete with a table, loungers, and an open view of the surrounding village, invites moments of pure relaxation and quiet contemplation, making it an ideal setting to unwind after a day of exploration.
Your dining choices
This is a bed and breakfast stay.
At Domaine Riberach 4*, dining is an experience in itself, guided by a commitment to seasonal, local ingredients and a “Slow Food” philosophy. At La Coopérative, Michelin-starred chef Dennys Teixeira transforms the Catalan terroir into refined, contemporary plates, served in the striking setting of the estate’s former wine press room. In summer, Cargol’21 brings the flavour of open-fire cooking to a relaxed terrace overlooking the vineyards, with a menu of grilled meats, fish, and vegetables designed for sharing, plus generous Sunday brunches in July and August. For something casual, Comptoir-Cave offers tapas, cheese and charcuterie boards, and a curated selection of organic and biodynamic wines from local producers. And from June, the Terrace Lounge becomes the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail, a sweet treat, or an aperitif board while watching the sun set over the vines.
Your time
Just for you:
- 1 x visit and tasting at the Domaine's cellar from 5 to 6 pm (see details)
Enjoy access to a range of relaxing, one-of-a-kind experiences. Take a dip in the outdoor natural swimming pool, a biotope fed by rainwater and filtered by aquatic plants, or unwind in the intimate Mediterranean spa set within five former wine vats. Stroll through the Mediterranean gardens before visiting the estate’s cellar to sample its organic, biodynamic, and natural wines. And to end the day on a truly southern French note, head to the pétanque court for a friendly game under the warm evening light.
If you feel like exploring, join a 4x4 “Wine Safari” through the vineyards, a guided trek between vines and garrigue, or an early-morning Sunrise Experience at the Pic d’Aubeill. The hotel’s location also puts you within easy reach of the medieval Château-Musée de Bélesta and the remarkable rock formations of the Orgues d’Ille-sur-Têt.
