The waters you will sail through are part of the Pelagos Sanctuary, created in 2002 by a joint decision of France, Monaco and Italy to protect marine mammals, dolphins, whales and many other species. This Mediterranean catamaran cruise will be one of the best memories of your holiday.

Your itinerary

Day 1 - 3:

Day 1: Old Port of Marseille - Frioul Islands

  • Meet at the legendary Old Port of Marseille, under the gaze of Notre Dame de la Garde, to board your catamaran at 6PM.
  • After settling into your cabin, the crew will brief you on safety regulations and life on board as you enjoy a welcome cocktail.
  • Set sail from the  Vieux Port (old port of Marseille), headed for the Frioul Islands. This small archipelago just a stone's throw from Marseille is made up of four main islets: Pomegues, Raton neau, Tiboulen and If, the most famous. The castle of If, built in the 16th century, owes its fame to Alexandre Dumas' novel The Count of Monte Cristo and its protagonist, Edmond Dantès, who was imprisoned in the fortress.

Dinner and overnight at anchor in the Frioul Islands

Day 2: Frioul Islands - Calanques - Cassis

  • This morning, you'll weigh anchor for an unforgettable experience: the discovery of the famous Calanques, that stretch from Marseille to Cassis, enjoying an unparalleled view from the sea. The views of these impressive geological formations make for an unforgettable sailing experience.
  • The white limestone cliffs rise majestically above the turquoise waters, while the secluded coves, cabins and idyllic beaches invite reverie...
  • Your skipper will choose the most beautiful one for a swim stop, allowing you to enjoy it to the full before returning to Cassis.
  • Cassis, a typically Provençal port town, with its brightly coloured houses set around the harbour, its fishing boats and its relaxed atmosphere, is the perfect setting for the end of a day's cruise. Stroll through its narrow streets, buy some souvenirs, sip a refreshing an aperitif in the harbour. as you watch the world go by..

Dinner and overnight quayside

Day 3: Cassis - Bandol - Porquerolles

  • The first stop of the day will be the majestic Cap de l'Aigle, on the outskirts of La Ciotat.
  • At lunchtime, you will reach the beaches of Bandol. This authentic seaside resort is one of the oldest in Provence. Long before Bardot in St Tropez, the first tourists to Bandol were Mistinguett, Rai mu and Pagnol, as well as Aldous Huxley and Thomas Mann.
  • In the afternoon, a beautiful sail will take you to the long-awaited stopover in the superb Porquerolles, the largest of the three Golden Islands. Rent a bike and explore its village, its vineyards, its magnificent beaches to the north and its cliffs to the south, accompanied by the song of the cicadas.
  • You can also swim at Argent beach, with its fine, soft sand and turquoise waters, one of the island's jewels. Next, make a stop at the fort of Alycastre. According to Provençal legend, a terrible dragon, the Lycastre, lived in a cave terrorising the population. A brave knight rescued from a shipwreck by the inhabitants of the island killed him with his sword in gratitude, thus restoring peace.
  • In the afternoon, take a seat on one of the terraces of the Place de l'Eglise, where the locals play pétanque, and enjoy the peaceful island atmosphere.

Days 4 & 5:

Day 4: Porquerolles - Saint Tropez - Cap Taillat

  • Today you're headed to St. Tropez
  • You'll appreciate getting there by sea, far from the traffic jams that are inevitable in summer.
  • Although St. Tropez remains a must-see for celebrities, it has not been neglected by lovers of all things maritime, history, art and gastronomy.
  • A programme of high-quality events punctuates the year and contributes to the town's legend. Beyond the festivities, Saint-Tropez remains an authentic village, a small port with many facets.
  • Discover its picturesque streets and charming boutiques, its Provençal market, its 16th-century citadel and its famous Musée de l'Annonciade.
  • Admire a few celebrities among the pétanque players in the Place des Lices, or sit on the emblematic terraces of Café Sénéquier or Bar le Gorille to pass the time watching passers-by.
  • To bring your day to a close in a mellow fashion with a refreshing dip, we recommend Cap Taillat, near Ramatuelle. You'll be seduced by the purity of the water and its remarkable isthmus of sand.

Dinner and night at anchor

Day 5: Cap Taillat - Cap Négre - Cap Bénat

  • Halfway through the cruise, it's time to dedicate a day to relaxation, total rest and the benefits of the sea...
  • In the shelter of Cap Négre, you drop anchor in the cove of Ca Valiere. This long white sandy beach overlooks the island of Levante and opens onto the marine sanctuary of the Pelagos.
  • You'll then sail to Cap Bénatone of the most prestigious natural sites on the Var coast, planted with Aleppo pines and cork oaks, between Le Lavandou and Bormes-les-Mimosas.
  • Since 1968, Cap Bénat has been home to the holiday residence of the President of the French Republic, the Fort de Brégancon, perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea. This exclusive stopover offers a peaceful and unspoilt environment.

Days 6-8:

Day 6: Cap Bénat - Port Cros - Giens Peninsula

  • After breakfast, you will set course for the Golden Islands, in the direction of Port-Cros, to disembark in its lovely and unique village, shaded by tall palm trees and nestled in the hollow of a cove. Access to Port-Cros is regulated to protect its exceptional biodiversity. For lovers of diving and underwater fauna, this is the place to be. Hiking trails, shaded by umbrella pines and holm oaks, wind around the island and offer panoramic views of the sea.
  • In the afternoon, you will go to the Giens peninsula, in the commune of Hyéres. Linked to the mainland by two five-kilometre-long sandy inlets, it is a geological curiosity unique in the world. It is home to an ornithological reserve inhabited by pink flamingos in its salt marshes.
  • You can drop anchor near one of the beaches and spend the afternoon and evening at anchor in this haven of peace.

Dinner and night at anchor

Day 7: Giens Peninsula - Sanary - Embiez Island

  • In the morning, you'll enjoy a stopover in Sanary-sur-Mer. It's another small Provençal portjust the way we like it.  Here you'll find colourful facades, lively narrow streets and the shade of palm trees on the terraces, but above all its flower market, which is held every morning in front of the town hall.
  • For beautiful views of the sea, the Embiez islandsthe Pointe Négre and the red stones of La Cride, climb up to the small, humble and charming chapel of Notre Dame de Pitié.
  • For the last stop on your cruise, we have reserved the Archipelago of Embiez for you. Paul Ricard, founder of the famous Pastis brand, bought these islands in the 1950s.
  • Partly classified as a nature reserve, the archipelago is dedicated to preserving the environment. There are no sun loungers or bars on the eight beaches and coves lapped by crystal-clear waters.
  • It's a far cry from the misguided cliché of the Côte d'Azur. The marina of Saint-Pierre des Embiez will be perfect for your last evening, in a relaxed nautical atmosphere, recalling the best moments of your stay at sea.

Dinner and night at anchor

Day 8: Embiez Island - Marseille, Old Harbour

  • You'll have to rise a little early this morning, but it will have been worth it - to have spent the night on the Isle of Embiez.
  • After an early breakfast, a final hour-long sail will take you back to the Old Port of Marseille, where you'll disembark the catamaran at 9am.
  • Departure for home.

Please note:

  • For reasons of navigational safety, the company and the ship's captain have the sole discretion to modify the itinerary of the cruise.
  • This cruise is subject to the influence of the tide and the arrival times at ports of call, and the order of visits may be altered.
