The villages within Les Arcs offer many non-ski activities such as bowling, helicopter trips, hot air balloon rides, overnight igloo stays, dog sled trips and paragliding.
Arc 1800 has a good selection of shops and restaurants, and is a firm favourite of families.
There are also some great events to watch out for if your trip coincides with them: In February is the Robert Blanc derby, where holidaymakers compete against locals in honour of the man who co-founded the resort, and in March is the North Face Freeride, an extreme event which attracts some of the best skiers in the World.

From beginner through to expert, picturesque Les Arcs has a variety of terrain and challenges to keep everyone entertained. Les Arcs boasts 200km of pistes, 1850m of vertical and a huge number of lifts.
If you have been to Les Arcs before or simply want to explore further afield, take the impressive Vanoise Express cable car to neighbouring La Plagne, linked to form the Paradiski Area. Here you'll discover another 225km of fantastic piste.
