Isle-sur-la-Sorgue —
Named the 'Venice' of the South of France, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is characterised by a very dense network of canals and rivers that connect to the Sorgue. Located between Avignon and the northern Luberon valley, just a few steps from Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and filled with antique dealers, second-hand dealers and gallery owners, the city has created a strong image that identifies it as a Provençal city where life is good. Lovers of art and old things will be delighted, as dozens of galleries exhibit works by artists throughout the year.
