Your Hotel —

Villa Clarisse is a small boutique hotel in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, the historical capital of Ile de Ré, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 4-star hotel is a 3-minute walk from sister Hôtel de Toiras and the sun-kissed beaches of Saint-Martin’s marina. La Rochelle train station is half an hour away, and Nantes Airport and Bordeaux Airport are around two hours away.

Sleep

Villa Clarisse was conceived in collaboration with interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon to reflect the soul of Ile de Ré. The nine guestrooms are bright and spacious, with an elegant combination of satin, linen, velvet and marble. Rooms are organised around a romantic patio, and many feature inviting fireplaces and original woodwork. Upon arrival, a welcome gift will be given to you in the room (per room per stay).

- Deluxe Room (32 m² / max 3 persons including 2 adults): Deluxe rooms, located on the ground or first floor of the house, offer views of the patio or gardens.

- Premier Room (35 m² / max 3 persons including 2 adults): Situated on the ground floor in a former convent, with a view of the charming patio.

- Junior Suite (37 m² / max 3 persons including 2 adults): The Junior Suite overlooks the Old Town and has a bathroom with shower and bathtub.

- Deluxe Suite (39 m² / max 4 people including 2 adults): With its beautiful high ceiling and seating area, the Deluxe Suite is spacious and comfortable.

- Premier Suite (45 m² / max 4 persons including 2 adults): These suites offer a double exposure: with a view of the patio and the old town and the other overlooking the patio and garden.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Taste

From Easter to All Saints' Day, the landscaped garden of the Villa Clarisse is transformed into a restaurant, serving Lunch on the Grass under the beautiful island sun. On the menu, refreshing flavours and reimagined dishes. In any season, L'Hotel Toiras restaurant serves a sumptuous harbour side dinner.

Experience

Guests can dip into the hotel’s heated outdoor swimming pool, hidden in the lush gardens, with charming views of the church tower. The hotel’s spa invites visitors to indulge in relaxing massages and rejuvenating facial treatments. The harbour is just a 3-minute walk away. Guests can explore the island by bicycle and will benefit from a 10% discount on the hotel's bicycle rental service.

- La Rochelle Train Station is about 23km away  €50 to reach the hotel by taxi).

By plane:
- La Rochelle Airport / Île de Ré is within 20km.

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
