This is a bed and breakfast stay.
Head to the Le Castellane restaurant, named after the Count of Castellane, who bought the château during the Renaissance. At the time it was used by Benedictine monks for their prayers, but today it's a historical dining room with large windows that plunges you into a singular atmosphere, where you can savour the art of French gastronomic cuisine. Treat yourself to seasonal produce accompanied by local wines, indoors or on the beautiful terrace, while enjoying the superb panoramic view over the Loire.
For a break that combines luxury and relaxation, head for the Bar Lounge at Le Prieuré. A true reflection of the spirit of the Château, you can enjoy an aperitif or digestif in a most surprising setting. With white marble enhanced by black and gold carpets, wide armchairs, mahogany wood panelling and tassel chandeliers, you'll quickly fall under its charms.
Please note, Le Castellane gourmet restaurant (open from Wednesday lunchtime to Saturday evening) requires prior reservation.
