Your Hotel —

A charming family-run hotel, the Hotel du Château is situated within an exceptional setting in the middle of lush green countryside and far from the hustle and bustle of the city. You will enjoy a warm and welcoming stay at the hotel whose proximity to the Medieval City provides you with uniquely stunning views over the historic Carcassonne. Upon arrival, a welcome drink per person and per stay will be offered.

Sleep

Authentic and charming, the hotel's rooms tastefully combine the old and the contemporary for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

- Classic Double Room (18 m² / max 2 persons): These rooms are luxuriously decorated for a comfortable stay.

- Superior Room (22 m² / max 3 persons): The Superior Room has a sitting area, with the possibility of a sofa bed to accommodate a third person if you wish.

- Deluxe Room (22 m² / max 2 persons): The atmosphere of the Deluxe Rooms calm and relaxing for a peaceful stay.

- Junior Suite (28 m² / max 3 persons): More spacious, the Junior Suites is comfortable and luxurious. Enjoy the lounge which can accommodate a third person.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Taste

The Hotel du Château offers a breakfast service, consisting of fresh local produce which you can enjoy from 7 am until noon every day. The Lounge bar is the ideal place to have a drink and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Medieval City, which is illuminated at nightfall. Snacks will be offered throughout the day, and you can take the path into the old town to discover more delicious restaurants.

Experience

Because of its proximity to the Castle of Carcassonne, your hotel is a true gateway to the many cultural activities that this mythical city offers. By bike or on foot, you will enjoy walking along the cobblestone streets of the old town and visiting its historical monuments. You can also pamper yourself at the hotel's Spa, where you will receive a 10% discount during your stay, or take advantage of the local cooking classes organised by the hotel, followed by a food tasting!

Access —

By road:
- From the A61 motorway, exit at Carcassonne Est, then take RN113 towards "Cité Médiévale". The hotel is located directly opposite the main entrance.

By train:
- Carcassonne Railway Station is about 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by taxi.

By plane:
- Carcassonne Cathar Country Airport is about 15 minutes away by taxi or by special airport shuttle.

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
