Your Hotel —

In the image of the region, the Chateau La Chenevière is an historic destination. Since the 17th century, this Normandy building has been steadily changing its image, starting out as a domain dedicated to harvesting hemp and flax, moving to becoming a place to raise and breed hens, and then being occupied by Germans and Americans after D-Day. Completely restored in 1988, the chateau focuses on a romantic harmony of refinement, elegance, authenticity and modernism. To welcome you to the chateau, a complimentary bottle of Pommeau (one per room, per stay) as well as a box of salted-butter caramels will be our gift to you! 


Sleep

In the image of this sumptuous chateau, the rooms have an elegant and classical style. Allow yourself to be seduced by this establishment where good taste and serenity are the key words.

Taste

Every morning, a delicious buffet served will give you the necessary strength for the day. Bread and pastries, eggs, cold cuts, fruits, smoked salmon, everything you need and desire in one place.   It will also be possible for you to have it delivered to your room. In the evening, head to the Botaniste. This gastronomic restaurant uses only noble products from local Normandy producers. Either "à la carte" or as part of a tasting menu, the establishment will know how to please your taste buds.  From mid-May to the end of the month of September, the Petit Jardin Restaurant opens it doors and serves a light and refined cuisine. Three "formulas" are proposed, starter + main dish, main dish + dessert, or starter + main dish + dessert. The reduced amount of restaurant's menu choices guarantees the freshness of the products served.

Experience

During your stay, you will have many recreational activities to choose from thanks to the large park that surrounds the chateau. For golf lovers, you can get in a few rounds while benefiting from a 10% reduction in green fees at the  Omaha Beach Golf Course, located next to the hotel. From May to September, you may also enjoy the outdoor heated pool, an orangery, tennis court and the use of bicycles. The rest of the time, you can discover the famous D-Day beaches or drive 1.5 hours to get to Mont-Saint-Michel!

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
