Chateau de Bagnols is set in the heart of the Beaujolais region, an area famed for its wine. While staying at the Chateau you will have the opportunity to discover much of what makes this classic French countryside land so revered - fine wine, amazing cuisine and luscious landscapes of rolling green hills, quaint villages and enchanting architecture.

The hotel is also a mere 40 minute drive from Lyon City, so do take advantage of car hire to explore more of France. Although Lyon may be off the beaten path of French cities to visit, it is certainly worth a trip. France’s 2nd city has just as much to offer as any European capital, and has been known for years as the birthplace of some of the finest in French cuisine and is the home of French chef Paul Bocuse’s first restaurants.

There are three main buildings: the main Castle, the Residence and the Old Cuvage. Located in the Old Cuvage area of the castle, these apartments have double or twin beds. The rooms are from contemporary inspiration. Wood, glass and stone combine comfort and authenticity, and provide them a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

Your Board Basis —

This offer is based on a bed and breakfast stay. You may choose to add a 3 course gastronomic meal  per person (at the next stage of booking.)

The majestic Salle des Gardes is the setting for the Château’s main restaurant. The coats of arms, which overlook France’s largest gothic chimney, commemorate the royal visit of Charles VIII in 1490. Guests can savor delicious specialties including local charcuterie and delicatessen, fish from nearby streams and excellent regional cheeses. The beautiful tableware and glassware have been specially designed and created for the Château.

Your Time —

Experience a truly unique and exceptional moment during your stay by visiting the hotel's spa and wellness area. A range of relaxing and revitalising treatments are offered from 10am to 7pm by appointment. After each treatment (1 hour required) you will be offered, with compliments of the hotel,  a non-alcoholic drink (reconditioning fruit juice, infusion or relaxing tea as desired).

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Are not included with this offer - distance from Lyon Airport is 60KM.

Car hire: May be added during the next stage of the booking process.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The minimum age for driving a hire car in France is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year. You must present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card deposit.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return. This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers
You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.
Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
