Avoriaz
This is a fantastic location for a summer holiday, particularly for active families or couples who love the outdoors. The fresh mountain air and breathtaking scenery will invigorate your senses - the perfect antidote to city life.
The Portes du Soleil ski area is one of the biggest winter playgrounds in the world, offering 12 linked resorts on either side of the French-Swiss border. Ideally nestled in the heart of the French and Swiss Alps, skiers come here for the excellent snowfall - more than 8 metres every year! In addition, Portes du Soleil offers 400 km of slopes and 286 pistes: 32 black, 101 red, 119 blue and 34 green.
