The hotel occupies an iconic landmark building located just 100m from the ski slopes and boasts a host of impressive facilities. On arrival, you will be greeted by the hotel’s proud ambassador, the resident polar bear, a dramatic emblem of their trademark fusion of good humour and state-of-the-art design. Hotel Royal Ours Blanc 4* houses 46 rooms, a hotel restaurant serving highland dishes, and a bar with a fireplace that offers a cosy place to kick back. Spa access, massages or beauty treatments are also available at an additional cost. Board games can be borrowed from reception.

You may choose from Economy or Premium class flights on sectors that they operate, at the next stage of the booking process.

 

The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ. 

Transfers:

It may be possible to add return transfers at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability).

 

For inbound transfer arrangements please confirm with your transfer provider when you arrive. Alternatively, please check with the reception of your accommodation. If you still require assistance, please call the transfer provider directly. 

Car Hire:

For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, Sixt car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability and Sixt office opening times upon your arrival).

 

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on the collection of the vehicle and in some cases, a credit card or cash deposit will be required. Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions. Your Destination

Need a breath of fresh air? Alpe d'Huez reaches up to 3300m on the Pic Blanc glacier, encompassing 250km of slopes for all levels; the longest black ski run in Europe (16km); and one of the largest snow parks in the entire Alps. Don’t be fooled, though - this winter resort is also nicknamed l’Isle du Soleil, or the Island of the Sun, as it enjoys long periods of sunshine, clocking up an average of 300 sunny days per year!

 

With a resort history dating back to the 1930s, today Alpe D’Huez boasts the fifth-largest ski area in France, with slopes stretching to the nearby villages of Auris, Villard Reculas, Oz en Oisans and Vaujany. Experienced skiers can tackle Le Tunnel, one of the most difficult ski runs in the world, while beginners will be pleased with the resort’s extensive nursery slopes.

 

Other highlights of this exceptional resort include the breathtaking views from the viewing station of Le Pic Blanc, from which on a good day you can gaze out at one-fifth of France, and the Ice Cave that showcases the artistic talents of various ice sculptors.
