The Alpe d'Huez is a south-facing plateau, situated 1,860 metres above sea level, with 250 km of pistes and a recorded 300 days of sunshine a year. This is the perfect destination for skiing with the highest point reaching up to 3,300 metres on the Pic Blanc glacier, which visitors have access to in winter or summer.
Part of the Domaine Ski area, Alpe d'Huez is combined with the resorts of Auris-en-Oisans, Huez-en-Oisans, Oz-en-Oisans, Vaujany and Villard Reculas to form one powdery-snow playground for you to enjoy no matter your level. Don't miss out on "La Sarenne" the 16km black run boasting a 2210m vertical drop - the longest black run in Europe.

The elegantly decorated Chalet Nightingale is ideally located on Avenue de l'Eclose, at the southern end of the main village of Alpe d'Huez. Just a 5-minute walk from the town centre and right next to the slopes, it offers convenient access to ski facilities so you waste no time getting out there.
Beginners will appreciate the proximity of the cable car to the beginner slopes, while experienced skiers can ski down to the old village of Huez from the main slopes, accessible in just 3 minutes from the chalet.

Discover the elegant atmosphere of Chalet Nightingale, where alpine traditions and modern comfort are honoured. This accommodation can accommodate up to 6 people with its three carefully arranged bedrooms.
On the first floor, the open living space offers a bright and spacious atmosphere, enhanced by high vaulted ceilings that extend to the outdoor balcony, providing a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes, the space includes a large dining table for convivial meals together. The modern kitchen is also fully equipped, so you can prepare delicious home-cooked meals with ease.
The three bedrooms, also located on this floor, offer comfort and privacy. Two of them have twin beds with en-suite shower rooms, while the third features a bathtub and a private toilet, as well as access to a balcony.
The entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor, where a ski room equipped with boot warmers awaits you to prepare for your day on the slopes of Alpe d'Huez.

Relax and warm up in the wellness area, featuring a whirlpool bath and sauna, perfect for recharging your batteries after a day on the slopes. This relaxation area is shared with Chalet Woodpecker, located next door.

With 250km of pistes for all levels, the longest black ski run in Europe (16km) and one of the biggest snowparks in the Alps, it's a must for snow sports fans. It also boasts long periods of sunshine, with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year.
Developed since 1036, today Alpe d'Huez covers 1/5th of France, stretching from Italy to the Massif Central. While the area is best known for its skiing, there are plenty of breathtaking landscapes to discover on hikes or mountain bikes as soon as summer arrives, including the neighbouring faces of Auris, Villard Reculas, Oz en Oisans and Vaujany.
