Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Arrive in Kuusamo
Touch down in Kuusamo and transfer to your cosy accommodation, where your warm winter clothing will be delivered.
DAY 2: SNOWSHOEING IN RIISITUNTURI NATIONAL PARK
Head out on a hiking trail (approx. 3 km) and into the forest, past the snow-dusted spruce trees and up the fell, where there are incredible views of the glittering arctic nature! Pause for a break in the wilderness hut to warm up with hot drinks and snacks. Your knowledgeable guides will teach you about the history, geology, and ecology of this amazing area, tell you traditional Finnish folk tales, and even help you spot wild animal tracks!
DAY 3: OPTIONAL HUSKY RIDE
Spend the day exploring as you please, or choose to venture out on a 5km husky ride in the wilderness (additional cost).
Day 4: Snowmobile Northen Lights Search
Drive through snow-covered forests and frozen-over lakes, making stops to inhale the fresh air and total silence. If you're lucky, you may even see the iconic Nothern Lights dancing in the sky! Hot drinks are included in the safari.
DAY 5: REINDEER ADVENTURE AND SLEIGH RIDE
Enjoy a 1.5km reindeer sleigh ride through the snowy forest, along a beautiful icy riverbank. After the sleigh ride, cosy up in a warm Finnish Kota with a cup of hot coffee or tea and traditional pastries. The reindeer herders will tell you the fascinating history and traditions of their way of life, and about how their lives are still so intertwined with nature.
DAY 6: DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport, ready for your return flight home after a wonderful tour in Lapland.

5km Husky Ride (Day 3)
Visit a husky farm and experience an unforgettable 5km journey through the magical forest! Switch drivers halfway through, so everybody gets a chance to experience both the joy of driving and the peaceful husky ride! After the tour, head to a traditional Lappish hut to enjoy hot drinks and sweet buns by the warmth of a bonfire, and learn more about the dogs and mushing.

Lapland

At Nuorgam, the northernmost point, you have passed Iceland and nearly all of Canada and Alaska.
Spanning 30% of Finland’s land area, Lapland is home to just 3% of its population. Its vast wilderness is ripe for exploring on foot, skis or sled. The sense of space, pure air and big skies are what's most memorable here, more so than the towns.
Lapland’s far north is known as Sápmi, home of the Sámi, whose main communities are around Inari, Utsjoki and Hetta. Rovaniemi, on the Arctic Circle, is the most popular gateway to the north.
