Husky Safari & Reindeer Farm Visit —
The safari with the huskies is an experience not to be missed on a visit to Lapland. You'll be taught how to handle the sled before setting off for the ride with the huskies, who'll walk you through the beautiful winter landscape. You'll enjoy the excitement of the dogs before they set off and the serene silence once they've done what they love: running through the snowy landscape. The musher will also show you around the husky farm during your visit. Unless otherwise stated, all husky safaris are based on two people sharing a sled.
On another day trip, you'll have the opportunity to meet an authentic reindeer herder and his herd. You'll learn interesting things about these semi-wild animals and about life in the North.
Snowmobile Safari & Snowshoeing Experience —
The guide will teach you how to get to grips with these powerful machines and, after a comprehensive safety and driving lesson, you'll head out into the great outdoors. Riding snowmobiles through the white winter landscapes is a breathtaking experience that will remain etched in your memory. During the safari, you'll enjoy a few hot drinks and have the opportunity to take a few photos.
If you prefer a gentle stroll in beautiful snowy surroundings, this is the excursion for you. You will be equipped with snowshoes (and poles if you wish) and set off for a lovely little walk in the hotel's surroundings. Along the way, the guide will share with you interesting stories and information about Finnish nature.
Aurora Camp —
This excursion will take you to a specially selected camp where you can spot the Northern Lights. You'll be comfortably escorted in a sleigh, pulled by a guide's snowmobile. You'll get to build an open fire and enjoy hot drinks while you wait for the Northern Lights to show.

Lapland —
Lapland casts a powerful spell: the midnight sun, the aurora borealis (Northern Lights) and roaming reindeer are part of its allure – as is Santa Claus himself, who ‘officially’ resides here – along with the awesome latitudes. At Nuorgam, the northernmost point, you have passed Iceland and nearly all of Canada and Alaska.
Spanning 30% of Finland’s land area, Lapland is home to just 3% of its population. Its vast wilderness is ripe for exploring on foot, skis or sled. The sense of space, pure air and big skies are what's most memorable here, more so than the towns.
Lapland’s far north is known as Sápmi, home of the Sámi, whose main communities are around Inari, Utsjoki and Hetta. Rovaniemi, on the Arctic Circle, is the most popular gateway to the north.
