Our members will enjoy some great excursions, included when they book.

Along with an English-speaking Guide and the necessary equipment for all activities including helmets for horse-riding, head on a 2-3 hour guided snowshoe trek, including a picnic lunch and evening meal. Following that is a 3 hours guided Icelandic horse-riding trip. This excursion also includes a picnic lunch and an evening meal. 

Note: Horse-riding is easy and does not require previous riding experience. For other excursions, you can select from the following options below. These need to be pre-booked. 

Optional Excursions

For your fourth day of stay, you may choose to add one of the following excursions at the next stage of the booking process. 

Kivesvaara Hill & Lake Pulu Fatbiking 
Explore and enjoy arctic nature with a guided biking tour and a trip to one of the biggest lakes in Finland. This excursion includes a picnic lunch, which will be served to you in a shelter during the trip.

Ice fishing
With this excursion, the clue is in the name! Go ice fishing and get to enjoy an included picnic lunch, which will be served during the trip.

Husky Safari
Journey through Vuokatti on this 2 hours excursion, using a unique mode of transport - a dog!
Note: Dog sleds accommodate up to two people per time. Lunch is included in the price.

Snow Scooter Safari
This second safari excursion also involves huskies but rather than riding on a sled with one, get to visit them and see them in their natural habitat at a husky farm in Vuokatti. This excursion is approximately 3 hours long and includes lunch.

Spa
Head to the Holiday Inn Katinkulta Spa in Vuokatti and enjoy 3 hours of pampering. Return transfers and the possibility of free time included.
