DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN RANTASALMI & LAKESIDE SURROUNDINGS
Arrive in the quiet village of Rantasalmi, set amid a landscape of lakes, wooded islands, and pine forests. Settle into your accommodation and take time to unwind. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a gentle walk along the shoreline or relax in one of the wellness areas. DAY 2: LINNANSAARI NATIONAL PARK
Set out for Linnansaari National Park, one of the natural highlights of Lake Saimaa. This protected area is known for its unspoilt scenery and diverse wildlife, including the rare Saimaa ringed seal. On the main island, follow the accessible Sammakkoniemi trail through birch woodland and along rocky shores. The remainder of the day is free.

DAY 3: SAVONLINNA
Consider travelling to Savonlinna in the morning, approximately 45 minutes away. Explore the impressive medieval Olavinlinna Castle, one of Scandinavia’s best-preserved fortresses. Afterwards, stroll along the waterfront and through streets lined with traditional wooden houses. Return to Rantasalmi in the afternoon.

DAY 4: BOREAL FOREST & FINNISH TRADITIONS
Spend your final full day immersed in the surrounding nature. After breakfast, head to the forests of Porosalmi or the village of Oravi, known for its wild landscapes and forest trails. The afternoon is free to relax, swim, or make the most of the wellness facilities.
