Los Haitises and Cayo Levantado

Depart from the port of Santa Bárbara de Samaná aboard a catamaran or motorboat to explore the beauty of the Samaná Bay. In just 30 minutes, you will reach Los Haitises National Park, a natural gem with lush islands teeming with rich biodiversity.
Observe the colonies of pelicans, herons, and frigatebirds that inhabit these islands. Your journey continues with the exploration of mysterious caves, once pirate hideouts and homes to indigenous populations.
Around noon, cross the bay again to reach Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardi Island, where a delicious lunch awaits you. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the white sandy beaches and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of this little paradise island.
Catamaran Cruise in Samana Bay

Embark on an unforgettable day of sailing in the stunning Samana Bay aboard a catamaran. From your departure at the Santa Barbara port, let the sea breeze carry you away and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Your first stop will take you to Ferry Hundido for a swimming and snorkelling session in its inviting waters, followed by a visit to La Farola.
Lunch onboard the catamaran while taking in panoramic views. Before heading back, relax on the deck, soaking up the sun and enjoying lively music.

Samana —
One of the Dominican Republic's top destinations for whale watching, the Samaná Peninsula is a palm-fringed, lush and unspoiled location, and the perfect place to enjoy a sun-soaked holiday surrounded by crystal-clear waters. In Samaná, tourists to this beautiful Caribbean nation can enjoy the best of the island's secluded beaches, in addition to deep, verdant rainforests and an ancient, rocky coastline.
Each year, between January and March, roughly 2500 humpback whales visit the magnificent Samaná Bay, acting as the main draw for tourists and offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy the mammals in their natural habitat. In addition, Samaná offers the chance to unearth treasures such as jaw-dropping waterfalls, adventurous hiking trails, magnificent forest zip lines and wonderfully peaceful villages.
