Melia Habana 5* —

You will enjoy a 4 or 5-night stay in an Upgraded Classic Sea View Room on a Bed and Breakfast Board Basis.

Please Note: Breakfast will not be provided by the hotel on the day you leave Havana for Cayo Santa Maria, due to an early start of 5 am. You will arrive in Cayo Santa Maria at approx. 11.30 am.

Discovery of Viñales Valley

Your Optional Excursions
From your accommodation, take an air-conditioned coach to the ranchón de las Barrigonas, surrounded by typical houses and tobacco plantations. You will then continue with a walk in the National Park of Viñales Valley, declared a UNESCO site and National Natural Monument, which is distinguished by the beauty of its mogotes - the mountains with rounded peaks - and many caves. 

You will also have the pleasure to admire the sublime pre-historic wall mural extending over 120 metres on the wall of the mogote Pita, on which you can observe in 12 parts the evolutionary process of men and animals in the Sierra of the Oregon. 

After reaching the Los Jazmines viewpoint in the Viñales Valley, you will enjoy a Creole lunch (excluding drinks) accompanied by country music. You will then be transferred to the Cueva del Indio where you will take a boat trip on the underground river before your return to the hotel.

Havana on a Bike (without lunch)

Your Optional Excursions
The bicycles will be delivered to your hotel in Havana (Pick-up time 08.30hrs). You will then have an encounter with an Ecotur guide speaking Spanish, English & German languages. They will provide you with an explanation of the excursion and give you any information regarding hiring the bicycle, familiarization with the bicycle and any questions you may have. You will then embark on a panoramic tour of Miramar and enjoy a walk through Metropolitan Park, Josefina Island.

Continue on to visit the Plaza de la Revolucion where you will have the perfect opportunity to take some photos. You will then visit Colonial Havana and embark on a walking tour through Casco Historico (Squares, fortresses and buildings). Finally you will visit Mercado San Jose and it is here that you can shop around and possibly purchase some traditional Cuban items or crafts. Then you will return the bicycles and complete the excursion. 

Marine Adventure

During your stay in the Cayo Santa Maria area, treat yourself to a boat ride through a labyrinth of canals that surround the Brujas, Tio Pepe and Frances. You will be able to observe an exceptional underwater fauna and flora during snorkeling sessions (snorkelling). 

Visit Santi Spiritus and Trinidad from Cayo Santa Maria

Your Optional Excursions
From Cayo Santa Maria, visit the town of Santi Spiritus and its historic centre where you will have a chance to explore the boulevard’s and take a break with an included cocktail. You will then be transferred to Trinidad where you will visit a potter's house. Enjoy lunch (excluding drinks) in a local restaurant before visiting a museum and then enjoying free time.
