Your itinerary in detail —

Day 1: Arrival in Vancouver

Upon arrival at Vancouver International Airport, transfer to your hotel for check in before heading out to explore the city. 

 

Overnight at Sandman Hotel Vancouver (or similar) 

 

DAY 2: VANCOUVER - WHITEHORSE

Make your way to the airport for your flight to Whitehorse. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to drop your bags before setting off on a guided tour of Whitehorse. The afternoon is to be spent as you wish, and in the evening, meet at 21:30 for your first Northern Lights viewing. Gather in a heated tent, with hot drinks and snacks as you gaze into the sky in search of one of nature's most impressive phenomena.

DAY 3: WHITEHORSE

Spend the day as you wish before heading out again at 19:30 for another night of Northern Lights viewing.

This morning, head to the Yukon Wildlife Reserve for the chance to observe bison, caribou, deer and mountain goats. In the evening, head out for your third and final Northern Lights viewing.

DAY 5: WHITEHORSE - VANCOUVER

Transfer back to the airport and board your flight for Vancouver. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check in, where the rest of the day can be spent as you wish. Why not head out on False Creek in a kayak or wander the totem-lined trails of Stanley Park before sampling fresh seafood tacos at Granville Island Public Market.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE FROM VANCOUVER

Transfer to the airport and board your homebound flight.
