Your Itinerary In Detail —
Day 1: Arrival in Moncton
Touch down in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Pick up your rental vehicle at Moncton Airport and check in at your hotel before beginning your exploration of New Brunswick's largest city, which offers a mix of modernity and maritime village charm.
Overnight in Moncton.
DAY 2: MONCTON AND THE BAY OF FUNDY
Drive to the Bay of Fundy and discover the highest tides in the world at Hopewell Cape, which reach up to 14 metres difference in height!
Observe the coastline and marine life of the bay.
Enter Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park (included) and walk at low tide through the so-called 'flower pots', holes dug over time by the tides. At high tide, they can be admired on a kayak trip.
Optional: Kayak trip to Hopewell Rocks.

DAY 3: MONCTON- SAINT-JOHN (approx. 152 km)
Use the day to explore Fundy National Park while en route to Saint-John.
Enjoy a drive along the Fundy Trail Parkway via the coastal cliffs. Drink in the beautiful landscape and stop along the way at numerous viewpoints.
Choose between a short hike, a walk across a river on a suspension bridge, admiring waterfalls or just drinking in views of the bay.
Arrive at Saint-John and check into your accommodation.
This historic town is famous for its natural phenomena, including the Reversible Rapids and the observation of the great tides. Stroll through the town and Market Square, Canada's oldest public market.

Day 4 -6: St John and the St Andrews Region
The region is famous for whale watching.
In St. Andrews, one of the oldest and most charming towns in the Maritime Provinces region, you can board a boat and observe these impressive marine mammals (included).
In Black Harbour, you have the option of taking a ferry to Grand Manan Island, a naturalist's and an ornithologist's paradise, and home to many lighthouses.
Deer and Campobello islands are also a great draw for those who appreciate unusual destinations with magnificent panoramas.

DAY 5: SAINT-JOHN - FREDERICTON (approx. 113 km)
Make your way to Fredericton, the capital of the province.
In this manageable city you can easily explore the Historic Garrison District, the city's historic centre, on foot. Marvel at the architecture and stroll through the many shops and art galleries.
Overnight in Fredericton.
DAY6: FREDERICTON - CARAQUET (approx. 285 km)
Drive to Caraquet which is known as the 'Capital of Acadia'.
This warm, welcoming, distinctly Acadian and maritime small town is washed by one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
With its undeniable charm and vibrant cultural and artistic life, it incidentally hosts one of the most important Acadian festivals in North America.
Sample the tasty regional cuisine that showcases the produce fished locally: fish and shellfish are celebrated and lobster is considered king of the plate!

DAYS 7 TO 9: CARAQUET
In Caraquet, visit the 'Village Historique Acadien' (included in the price).
This living history museum is considered a must-see in the region, and illustrates the culture and way of life of the ancestors of the Acadians in an authentic atmosphere and bucolic setting. Enter the houses, shops and workshops and meet the performers in period costumes.
Drive onwards to the tip of the Acadian Peninsula and visit the islands of Lamèque and Miscou with their enchanting panoramas.

DAY 8: CARAQUET - MONCTON (approx. 256 km)
The return journey to Moncton is dotted with interesting pitstops!
Kouchibouguac National Park is a protected Canadian heritage site and offers a fascinating mosaic of peat bogs, salt marshes, estuaries, protected lagoons, ancient fields and forests with majestic trees. Its 25 kilometres of ever-changing sand dunes serve as habitat for the many birds found in the park.
Visit the Dune de Bouctouche to thrill you. The long boardwalk winds through one of the last great dunes on the northeastern coast of North America, leading you to the beach, where you can admire the seascape and wildlife.
Stop at Pays de la Sagouine, located on a small island near Bouctouche. It is a wonderful recreation of a Prohibition-era fishing village and welcomes you with Acadian music, theatre performances and stories told by the most colourful characters.

Day 9: END OF THE ITINERARY
Enjoy your last moments in Moncton before you drop off your rental car at the airport and board your flight home.
