12 night road trip
Day 1-2: Montreal
Montreal is the second largest French-speaking city after Paris and is a city of contrasts.
Explore historic Old Montreal, named Ville Marie by the first settlers, and be sure to visit the emblematic Place Jacques Cartier and magnificent Hôtel de Ville.
Continue towards the city centre and don't miss the Place Ville Marie observatory with its unique urban view, as well as the city's underground network of cafés, restaurants and shops.

Days 3 and 4: Quebec City
Quebec City is the capital of the province of Quebec and Canada's oldest city. Behind its high stone walls, admire the star-shaped citadel and impressive fortifications.
A lunch or dinner in a traditional sugar shack is highly recommended (not included), and don't miss a visit to the impressive Montmorency Falls, a natural wonder that stands even taller than Niagara Falls.

Day 5-6: Lac St. Jean
A short drive takes you to the Jacques Cartier National Park. The park features a beautiful glacial valley, the Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier, and is home to moose, caribou, deer, wolves, foxes, river otters and black bears.
Explore the beautiful Saguenay Fjord National Park, a natural wonder with 100 kilometres of hiking trails, and stop off at the historical village Val Jalbert where you can step back in time.

Day 7-8: Mauricie
La Mauricie National Park is a lush wilderness in one of the world's oldest mountain ranges, the Southern Laurentian Mountains, on the north bank of the St Lawrence River. With 150 lakes and 536 km2 of forest inhabited by wildlife, there are countless activities available including kayaking, canoeing, swimming and hiking.
We highly recommend a tour with a professional guide to see black bears in their native habitat or a seaplane trip to discover the natural beauty of the park from the air.

Day 9: Ottawa
Drive on to Ottawa, Canada's capital city. Be sure to visit the Rideau Canal and the government buildings on Parliament Hill, and you can learn more about Canada at the Canadian Museum of History.

Day 10 / 12: Thousand Islands
Today you will visit a unique natural wonder, the Thousand Islands. This is a group of more than 1,800 islands in the Saint Lawrence River on the border of the United States and Canada.
They are home to elaborate mansions, such as German-style Boldt Castle on Heart Island, and Singer Castle on Dark Island, with its gothic windows and secret passageways.

Visit Toronto's most iconic landmark, the CN Tower, which holds the title of the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere.
