It has long been the tradition in Vienna to great the new year with a collection of both lively and nostalgic music from the prestigious Strauss who have helped shaped Austrian music for over three generations with the first of this musical dynasty, Johann Strauss I, being hailed as the faher of the Viennese Waltz, a piece of music that has become synonymous with Austrian culture.
This year the orchestra will be led by the intnernationally acclaimed conductor, Mariss Jansons, making this performance all the more a once in the life time opportunity as he is due to retire after delighting audiences for decades with his skill.
Please note that you will need to collect your tickets from the hotel's reception. Your show starts at 19:30 on 31st December and will need to make your own arrangements to be there on time
