Rise before dawn to watch the sun rise over the stunning Charles IV bridge, complete with its 16 arches and 30 Baroque statues, and capture a breathtaking view that you will never forget. Or go to the 550-year-old U Medvidku Beer Hall and sample the drink for which Prague is world-renowned!
Boasting two UNESCO World Heritage Sites,, nearly one hundred thermal springs and twelve spas; Roman ruins and Turkish baths, along with some truly magnificent architecture, Budapest is a city where you'll never be bored. Situated on both sides of the Danube with Buda and Pest, claiming one of the most spectacular panoramic views in Europe, this dichotomous city offers a perfect contrast between the right and left banks.
Budapest’s Castle District abounds in great attractions. The Royal Palace is situated on the southern part of Castle Hill. Today it is home to important cultural institutions and museums like the Hungarian National Gallery, the Ludwig Museum (Museum of Contemporary Art) and the Budapest Historical Museum.
It is also worth visiting Fishermen’s Bastion that was built in 1905. From its top you can have the best panoramic view of Budapest. Finally you must see the neo-gothic style Matthias Church rebuilt by Frigyes Schulek at the turn of the last century.
Transport yourself to the Imperial city of Vienna and be swept away by its grandeur as you walk through its majestic streets. This is the City of Music and has been home to Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Beethoven and Johann Strauss to name but a few. There could be no better place to watch a jaw-dropping classical music performance than in the lavish Staatsoper.
Start your day by tracing the story of Vienna from its Roman origins to the modern day with a visit to the Wien Museum and connect the stories behind the various landmarks, places and historic personalities of Vienna. Or visit any one of the breathtaking palaces; Schönbrunn Palace, Hofburg Imperial Palace, The Belvedere and immerse yourself in its beauty.
Indulge in some shopping on Graben street and try the local speciality Wien Porzellan, or feel at one with the locals in a Beisln (bistro pub) and try some traditional food, delicious brews and fabulous wines. Do not leave before you have visited one of Vienna’s legendary coffee houses, integral to Viennese culture for centuries.
