DAY 5: SARANDË
Your day begins with a convenient pickup from a central meeting point in Sarandë. Hop aboard a climate-controlled van and set off through Albania’s rolling countryside, a patchwork of rugged hills and olive groves leading to one of the country’s natural treasures - the Blue Eye spring.
Once you reach the parking area, it’s a short 15-minute walk through lush greenery to the spring itself. Here, nature puts on an awe-inspiring show as sapphire waters bubble up from mysterious depths. Whether you choose to dip your toes into the icy water or stroll along the turquoise banks, this is a moment to savour. Be sure to snap a few photos to capture this enchanting scene.
In the afternoon, return to the van for a scenic drive to the hilltop ruins of Lekuresi Castle.
