Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi where you will be met by your driver & transferred to your hotel. Unwind after your long flight.

Today's tour starts at 5am but Hanoi in the morning is definitely worth it! This is your opportunity to see a calmer side of this busy & chaotic city, starting at the city's colourful floral market in the Tay Ho District which is a sight to behold then continue to Long Bien Market where the locals gather to haggle.
Stroll along Hoan Kiem where you will witness, or even take part in, a Tai Chi session. This is also a beautiful spot to see the sun-rise before continuing to the Old Quarter to see the street markets. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, stroll down to a fresh and wet market where a huge variety of fresh products are bought and sold every day- a fundamental part of Vietnamese culture. Next, you visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which is very good at explaining Vietnam's multi-ethnic and socio-cultural diversity. Continue to the Temple of Literature which was constructed in 1070 under Ly Thanh Tong’s dynasty, it was the first to honour Confucius & now celebrates the doctorates & high ranking scholars of Vietnam.
The afternoon with be spent at Sen1992 Health Care Centre where you will be treated to a 150-minute traditional massage with herbal bath. This will be followed by a special set menu at the spa.

After breakfast, stroll down to a fresh and wet market where a huge variety of fresh products are bought and sold every day- a fundamental part of Vietnamese culture. Next, we visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which successfully presents the recognition of Vietnam as a multi-ethnic country and promotes socio-cultural diversity. Continue to the Temple of Literature back to the center. It was constructed in 1070 under Ly Thanh Tong’s dynasty, first to honor Confucius and now to celebrate the doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam.
After breakfast, you will drive approx. 3 hour 30 minutes to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site & an area of outstanding natural beauty, travelling through some mesmerising scenery along the way. Board your boat & embark on a through cruise through emerald waters with thousands of limestone islands dotted throughout.
Overnight onboard your boat with breakfast, lunch & dinner included. An English speaking guide is also included.
Day 4: Ha Long Bay - Hue
Enjoy a Tai Chi session on your boat sundeck while you sail past some breathtaking scenery. After breakfast, there will be a cave excursion before returning to your cabin to freshen up. Enjoy brunch onboard while you cruise towards the pier, disembarking around noon.
Drive back to Hanoi, visiting the Hai Duong province en route where you will see the Con Son Pagoda, an ancient relic of the Vietnamese people. Board your flight at Hanoi & fly to Hue, you will be met at the airport & transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast, your guide will take you to the city centre where you can explore the Imperial Citadel where Kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945. Highlights include the Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns & Forbidden Purple City.
Afterwards, you will visit an Ancient Tu Hieu Pagoda which is located amidst pine forests. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Continue driving along a scenic road to Tombs of King Minh Mang & King Khai Dinh. Lastly, visit Dong Ba market before returning to the hotel.

Day 6: Hue - Danang - Hoi An
After breakfast, depart the hotel for a 90-minute Zen session at Cat Tuong Quan House. Return to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, drive 3-hours to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port whose architecture & relaxed lifestyle has changed very little since the 18th-century. The scenic route passes through the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co before climbing up into 'The Pass of Ocean Clouds' at Hai Van. Upon arrival in Hoi An, check in hotel & relax.

Get up early & transfer to An Bang Beach for a 75 minute Yoga Session at sunrise on the beach (your Yoga class will be relocated to a Yoga studio in bad weather). Return to your hotel for breakfast then enjoy a morning walking tour around Hoi An's Ancient Town.
Visit the city's iconic water market, the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese assembly hall, a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the city's numerous museums & the local market. There are lots of art galleries, souvenirs & tailor shops where you can get some express made-to-order clothes if you like.
The next visit is to the home of a craftsman in the old town, where you’ll have a brief introduction to the history of the lanterns as well as stages of making them. Complete the trip by making your own lantern...the ultimate souvenir for your trip. Return your hotel at noon & spend the afternoon as you please.

Day 8: Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, drive to Danang (approx. travel time: 1 hour) for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Explore the bustling city in the mid-afternoon & see the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, central post office & Ben Thanh market.

Depart from your hotel at 8am & drive 2 hours to the Ben Tre province, crossing Rach Mieu bridge along the way. Upon arrival at Hung Vuong Pier, hop on a motorized boat & sail down the Ben Tre River – one of the tributaries of Mekong River.
Your first stop is at a brick-making factory, then you will continue to visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along the canal. Return to the boat and explore the delta's natural scissor creeks. Afterwards, take a motorized cart (tuk-tuk) or bicycle along shaded paths, passing by green rice fields & vegetable plains. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
After lunch, take a rowing-boat along beautiful water palm creek, then transfer to a motorized boat which will return you to the pier. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight home.
Our members can also opt to extend their holiday with a 4 night stay at Mui Ne Beach. In which case you will drive 4 hours 30 minutes to your beach hotel.
