Day 2: Hanoi – Half day street food tour or city tour (B)
After breakfast, you will be free in the morning to explore the city by yourself!

You will have the choice for half day experience in Hanoi (Either half  day street food or half day city tour):

Option 1: Half day street food

In the afternoon, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel. Stroll through Old Quarter from Hang Be Market to Thanh Ha wet market. Along the way, taste local delicacies, strange food items and have an explanation of the Vietnamese food practices. This busy, eclectic markets are alive with the sights and sounds of Hanoi and is the essence of Vietnamese culture.

Continue through the streets of the Old Quarter to Dong Xuan market to sample some local treats such as pho tiu and bun dau. Your guide will explain the routine of Vietnam meal times and traditional/unusual ingredients eaten. Stroll up ‘food alley’ to see other dishes on offer.

Back into the inner of the Old Quarter – check specially treated fruit which is dependable on the seasons and a typical snack in Vietnam. Last stop at one of the Old Quarter busiest (yet smallest) coffee shops for a well-earned sit down and coffee before returning to your hotel.

Option 2: Half day city tour

In the afternoon, your tour guide will pick you at your hotel. Visit the Museum of Ethnology, the biggest and most interesting museum in Hanoi which displays artefacts of 54 minorities in Vietnam. Then, continue your journey to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university which was constructed in the 11th century. Later, take a walking tour around the Old Streets which were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places.

Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (B/L/D & Shared Local English speaking guide on Boat)

After breakfast, meet your driver and depart by road to Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Travel through the rich farmlands of the Delta of the Red River and the landscape of rice fields, water buffalo, the daily life of the Vietnamese village. Arrive in Ha Long and board to board a traditional junk.

Lunch on board.

The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for visiting one of the beautiful caves.

Later on, the junk boat will move to the docking area for your overnight and dinner on board.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Danang - Hoi An (Brunch)

In the morning, your brunch will be served while doing further cruising to explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the port. After leaving your cruise, the driver will be there to pick you up toward Noi Bai Airport for a flight to Danang. On arrival in Danang, you will be met by your driver and proceed further to Hoi An.

Check in your hotel and overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An - Half day cycling to Tra Que Village (B)
After breakfast, you will be free to explore the town by yourself!

In the afternoon, ride a bicycle to Tra Que Vegetable Village. Walk around a vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land, fertilising it with seaweed from the local lake, raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. Enjoy a foot massage and then spend the rest of the time learning how to prepare ‘Tam Huu' spring rolls & rice pancakes with your host. Ride back to your hotel by bicycle.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An (B)

After a delicious breakfast, spend the day exploring Hoi An by yourself! See the sights including the Japanese Covered Bridge, Fukian Assembly Hall and Phung Hung House. Stroll around this ancient town, visiting the myriad of restaurants and bars, lit by the colourful lanterns twinkling in the moonlight. After this you should cross the central footbridge to An Hoi islet and enjoy a drink along the riverfront.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City - 1/2 day city tour (B)
After breakfast, you will be free until being transferred [no guide] to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and then will check in to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a half-day tour of vibrant Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the Reunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace it was this modern building that North Vietnamese tanks seized on the morning of April 30 1975, as Saigon fell. This fascinating building is filled with history still fresh in the minds of many. Continue to the War Museum, Old Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City – Mui Ne - 5 hours drive (B)
After breakfast, you will meet your driver [no guide] and proceed to Mui Ne. The distance between Saigon and Mui Ne beach is around 190KM and it will take around 5 hours drive.

Upon arrival, check in your resort and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Overnight in Mui Ne. 

Day 9-13: Mui Ne Beach (B)
With breakfast included each morning, the rest of your time in Vietnam will be spent relaxing by the beach, or exploring the are at your own will.

Overnight in Mui Ne. 

Day 14: Mui Ne - Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)
Have free time in Mui Ne until check-out time, and then meet your driver & transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City in good time to connect to your departure flight.
