During their tour, our members will follow the itinerary as seen below.
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, and be welcomed by our driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in and a refresh. With its heady mix of past and present architecture, scooters whizzing past, and noodle sellers on the sidewalk, Saigon is a city on the move. Spend the rest of the day enjoying free time. Please Note: Official room check-in time is 14.00. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast & Lunch)
Explore Ho Chi Minh City’s history, and experience the city as it was before the war. Travel to visit Notre Dame Cathedral and General Post Office which are beautiful examples of architecture from the French colonial period. We continue to the Reunification Palace, former residence of the Indochina Governor General and late President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in Apr 30, 1975.Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, you visit a local food market, a flower market, a local residence to observe the local life. The last stop of the day is the unforgettable Jade Emperor pagoda. The pagoda is filled with smoky incense and fantastic carved figurines. It was built by the Cantonese community at the turn of the 20th century and continues to buzz with the faithful. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
After that, take the road to Vinh Long and visit Vinh Long Market in town. This is the best photo opportunity for fish, shrimp, shrimp, crabs, snakes, rice field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables ... Continue the trip by a boat cruise to visit the local workshops where you will see how to make rice leaves, coconut candies and rice popcorn. Enjoy some types of candies with a hot cup of tea. Then we wander around to visit the orchard and the local family. We will enjoy some types of fruits and tea while listening to traditional music. Lunch in a fruitful orchard. In the afternoon, continue to boat trip along the Mekong River and observe many floating cages for fish farming. Then we pass the My An canal to see many brick kilns on both sides and return to the Hòa Tịnh canal. We will walk in the peaceful village to see how they make bricks, trays and bamboo baskets ... You will also learn how they make conical hats by hand. Heading to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4: Can Tho – Da Nang – Hoi An (Breakfast)
Early morning cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by motorboat, we will see the Cai Rang Floating Market- the busiest but nicest one with heaps of rowing boats. See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. Disembark at Ninh Kieu quay before heading to Can Tho airport for the flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel. Free time and overnight in Hoi An.
Breakfast at hotel.At 8:30am a tour guide and motorbike driver will pick you up from hotel for an authentic village tour. This countryside tour of Hoi An will give you real insight to local life. Meet our motorbike driver at your hotel and we ride over the bridge to Cam Kim Island and along the riverside into the beautiful rural countryside. First stops include an Ancestral House and a traditional boat builder’s yard before we set off to explore the sleepy island villages. Zig-zag through the breathtaking scenery of rice paddies & farmland and enjoy the cooling breeze. Next, learn from friendly local families the art of mat weaving, farming, and how to make (and eat) the perfect Banh Dap rice crackers. Meeting local families is a must-do to see the real way of life in Vietnam. Finally, it’s up high and over the new bridge offering spectacular panoramic views of Hoi An, which takes us to the water coconut palm for interesting basket boat rowing on the peaceful river, and then back to your hotel at noon. Lunch in a restaurant.Take a guided walking tour around Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese assembly hall, a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the interesting museums and the local market. There’re numerous art galleries, souvenirs and tailor shops where you can get some express made-to-order clothes if you like. The next visit is to home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you’ll have a brief introduction to the history, shape and color of the lanterns as well as stages of making them. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6 : Hoi An – Hue visits (Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast, you will proceed along one of Vietnam most scenic highways to Hue (4hr). When crossing the Hai Van pass, you will have a chance to contemplate a superb panorama of the central coastline and the beach of Lang Co – one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam. Arrival in Hue after 3 hour driving. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we explore the Imperial Citadel where Kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, including Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, Forbidden Purple City and Thien Mu Pagoda. Return to your resort. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue – Hanoi (Breakfast)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Hue Airport for the flight to Hanoi.On arrival, your guide and driver will pick you up and drive to the hotel (Check-in time is 14:00). Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi visits & encounter (Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, 08.00 guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Begin our exploration by following the most famous streets in the heart of the Old Quarters, discover the dark and tiny alleys whose width is perfectly adapted to an average Vietnamese. You stop at a local house in the old neighborhood which have been living here for over 50 years and discuss with them about their daily life. You will learn more about local traditions, culture and way of life. Continue to Dong Xuan Market, the biggest retail market in the Old Quarters, where you can find all the incredible and inexpensive shopping, ranging from exotic herbs to fresh fruits and vegetables, fragrant flowers to craft and the wooden decoration. On the way, you will have 2 stops to sample the drink and typical local dishes. The walk ends at O Quan Chuong gate, the only gate with 5 doors surrounding the citadel Thang Long, survives as a real "square door". Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Temple of Literature (known as the first university of Vietnam), Thang Long citadel. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, you will leave Hanoi for Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. Passing many rocks and islets in shape of Dog, Incense, Fighting-cock, Finger, Hoa Cuong etc and visit Surprise cave, kayak (kayak cost is not include in this package), if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing and later overnight on board. Note: This itinerary is subject to change due to boat availability, weather condition, tide levels and operating conditions without prior notice. Local guide on boat.
Day 11: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (Brunch)
In the morning, brunch will be served while cruising in the bay, pass by several rocks, islets and fishing villages, then moving toward Ha Long City for disembarking around 11 a.m. Return to Hanoi. Free time at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi – Departure (Breakfast)
Breakfast at your hotel. Free time until transfer to the hotel for the flight of your departure. After check-out time at 12h00, it is possible to leave your luggage at hotel reception.
Optional Extension to Mai Chau —
The following extension details a Mai Chau holiday extension which can be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee.
Breakfast at hotel, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Mai Chau valley. You arrive at Mai Chau after about 4 hours driving. Take a walk or bike ride around ethnic villages. Overnight in Mai Chau.
Day 13: Mai Chau valley – Ninh Binh/Ha Long Bay on land (Breakfast & Lunch)
Wake up early for sunrise before breakfast served by your hotel. After breakfast, visit a local market and take a walk through the villages, visit a kindergarten or a primary school (weekdays) where you take a bike ride through the cornfields and peanut fields to reach Xia Spring. Lunch at a homestay. In the afternoon, take the road to Ninh Binh. You arrive in Ninh Binh after about 3,5 hours. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 14: Ninh Binh visits – Hanoi (Breakfast & Lunch)
Breakfast at hotel, Take a bike ride on a beautiful country road in the middle of paddy fields and rocky peaks to a small pier Thung Nham which is still a little unknown to tourists, take a traditional boat ride in the poetic landscapes of Thung Nham between limestone peaks, visit the impressive Cave on the way. Lunch in a local restaurant. Then you visit Mua Cave, the most beautiful place to see in Ninh Binh, where you can see the city from the square in front of Tam Coc in the back and the limestone mountain that runs along the south of Vietnam. Transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 15 : Hanoi – Departure (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport for the return flight (check-out time is 12:00).
